Chapter 20

*6 months time skip* (Read (A/n) if you haven't)

(Y/n) is still taking lessons from Zeke, Sting, and Rogue. (She learned basically everything she could from the other slayers.) (Y/n) has grown much stronger, but not as strong as she could be. She's gone on several jobs with team Natsu and Zeke. She and Zeke are definitely part of the Fairy Tail family now. (Y/n) has become close friends with everyone at Fairy Tail especially Zeke.

(Y/n) pov

"That was a fun job!" I screamed. "Yeah I guess but we were barely able to defeat the dark guild," said Lucy. "That's the point!" said both me and Natsu. "I had to help you! If I didn't you would have lost!" whined Zeke. "I didn't need your help! I was just making myself seem weak so he'd underestimate me!" "Yeah sure..." he said while rolling his eyes sarcastically. "How much did we get for that?" I ask. "85,000 jewels each." said Happy. I can finally pay my portion of the rent." I say looking at Lucy. "You know I should really make Natsu and Happy pay too."

We both looked back at Natsu. "Hey, where's Natsu?" I ask. "And Gray is gone too," added Lucy. We ask Erza is she knew where they went but she didn't know either. We walked back down the trail and I heard them arguing. "They're other here," I say leading them off the trail. Then we saw3 them. Gray threw a punch at Natsu and Natsu grabbed Gray's fist. "Gray! Natsu!" yelled Erza. They both looked over in terror at Erza. "Oh hey Erza," they both said nervously. "We were just making a best friend handshake," said Gray. They then proceeded to do the most poorly rehearsed handshake I had ever seen. "Good, it's nice to see you two getting along," she said happy with the explanation. 

"She can't honestly believe this, that handshake was so bad," I whispered to Zeke. "Yeah you and I could come up with something better," I whispered back. We both giggled. "What did you say?" said Erza giving us the death glare. "I...I just told Zeke a funny joke." "Really? What was it? I want to hear it!" said Erza eagerly. Natsu and Gray looked relieved that the pressure was off them. "I said why does time fly so fast for exceeds?" "Why?" Crap I didn't think this far ahead. I nudged Zeke in the arm. "You finish the joke I don't think I can finish it without laughing." "Oh .. yeah...sure." "It's because umm time flies!" We both laughed nervously. Erza started blankly at us. "That made no sense." I hear Gray whisper to Natsu. Natsu nodded in agreement. I glare at them. If they didn't laugh right now I would be the one to kill them. They both started fake laughing. "You probably won't get it, its an inside joke," I say. "Oh," said Erza sadly.

"We should get going if we want to get home before its dark." interrupted Lucy. Thank God for Lucy. "Thanks to (y/n) and Zeke we have a 50/50 split on who transporting and walking (Wendy always stays neutral) and somehow we always end up walking," Gray said Glaring at me. I smiled back to annoy him more. Whenever they 50/50 split happens I start crying and normally Lucy and Erza go to our side so Gray gets outvoted.

When we got back I waved goodbye to everyone and walked back home with Lucy. "Don't forget you have to go to Sabertooth tomorrow," she said. "I know," "Do you want me and Natsu to take you?" "No, I'll just make Zeke go with me." "Okay I'm tired anyway Ill probably sleep in." "Okay," I say. "Goodnight." "Goodnight,"

Zeke pov

I walked back with Gray and Natsu when Erza left to go back to the girl's dorm. "You know I heard there's a party in the boy's dorm tonight," Gray said. "I wasn't invited so it must be fake, because I'm the life of the party," said Natsu. "I wasn't invited either," I said sadly. "I wonder why," said Gray sarcastically. "Why not me?" I said confused. "Because last party you and Natsu almost destroyed the whole guild!" "We did not!" We both said in sync. "Do I need to remind you? A fight got started and then you and Natsu joined and Natsu started the guild on fire and you knocked out everyone. Anyway, I'm heading to the party you can't go to."

"We're so following him right?" I asked "Yep." We followed him to Freed's dorm. "The party has arrived!" Natsu screamed when we walked in. Everyone groaned. "Who invited them?" Whined Maccro. "Yeah," joined Jet. "My dorm is going to get destroyed," complained Freed. "I promise we won't destroy anything." I pleaded. "Natsu is fine we have Laxus here, it's YOU!" "ME?!" "Yeah, you're way too powerful." I've never been so insulted by a compliment. "I'm just a kid though!" "So, if you stay here you have to agree to not fight." "Fine," I say sadly. Fighting is half the fun.

I hung out with everyone and of course, a fight started. I had to stand against the wall while everyone was having fun. Eventually, it stopped. Later on, Master came with 30 bottles of booze and everyone cheered. I drank some, but not like the others. They always made fun of the girls when they got drunk, but they're just as bad if not worse. Gray took off all his clothes and I wish I didn't see that and Natsu was trying to fight everything and everyone. Gajeel was crying too. I went over to talk to him, but I didn't understand a single thing he said so I gave up.

Then Natsu said we could all play "Master." Me being the only sober one rejected, but Gray forced me to play. The first time I grabbed the number 7 and Elfman was the Master. He said number 3 had to slap number 10 in the face and if he was a man it wouldn't hurt. I was relieved that it wasn't me. It didn't even really make sense, but I just went along with it. I was only picked once the whole game and when I got picked I had to chug a pint of alcohol. Well, I was the only sober one.

Then Natsu was the Master. He said number 4 had to strip, but Gray was 4 and he already was naked at this point, so Natsu picked a different one. Number 8 has to confess his love. "Man I feel bad for the sucker that has to do tha..." Frick, I'm number 8! Shoot I have to say something everyone is staring at me. "Ummm...

It's...

(Y/n)."

 I said while blushing. "What?!" Screamed Natsu. "Dude everyone knows already." "WHAT??" I screamed. "Well except Natsu and her who are both clueless," said Gray.

"You should just tell her already," Gray continued. "Really? Is it that obvious?" Everyone nodded. I was beyond mortified at this point. "If you need advice you should ask us," said Laxus putting his arm around my shoulder. Normally Laxus couldn't care less. "If you guys haven't noticed you're all still single." "So, I'm single because I want to be, if I didn't I would have 10 girls lined up for me right away." "Yeah," agreed everyone.

Everyone began giving multiple suggestions. "You should write her a song." "No, a poem." "Or a letter." "Just tell her you like her." "You know what I think I will," I say confidently. "(Y/n)'s going to Sabertooth tomorrow I'll walk her back and when she does ill tell her." Everyone Cheered and patted me on the back. "Aww, my little Zeke is all grown up!" Natsu began to cry. We partied all night and at 4 in the morning, I stumbled back home to get ready for the big day.
