Gray pov We had rested for a while "I think we should keep going otherwise we may never get out." "Juvia agrees." We got up and continued the endless maze. "I hope we don't run into another psycho." Juvia nodded. "I hope we run into someone we know or at the very least get out." She nodded again. I looked over at her she didn't look too good she was severely beaten up from the crazy guy. "Hey, Juvia..." "Yeah." "Thank you for saving me." Then her eyes began to light up. "Juvia would do anything for Gray-sama." Then she gave me a hug. I probably could have gone without the hug but at least she was a little better.
***1 hour later (I mean it's a maze not that much interesting stuff can happen lol).***
We went the opposite directions since the other way had failed and I began to wonder if there was even an exit to this maze. Then we entered another square area. "Nope! I'm not meeting psycho's friends!" I said and began to frantically run out with Juvia following, but a heavy iron block fell in front of the exit. "You're running the wrong direction. I'm this way."
Erza pov
She came over to me. I was still embedded in the dirt. She held out a magic sword made out of water. She held it up to my throat with a look of triumph. "Still, think I'm no match, Titania ?" I began to get up. "What makes you so cocky?" she asked. "I decided to use some of your advice." "Oh, really what?" "When the other person reveals their magic you might have a counter." "So what?" "Well lucky for me you have no specific control unlucky for you I have to perfect contour!" I reequipped to my sea emperor amour.
"Aww cute you changed your amour." I ignored her and got up. She slashed her sword but it had little effect. "What??!?!" "I'm just trying to take some of your advice it would ruin the fun if you knew." I charged her and quickly reequipped to my clear heart clothing armor and almost hit her, but she held up her sword in defense. "If you thought some dumb armor changed would defeat me I hate to tell you but it won't."
"I know." And I changed back to the sea amour and my sword broke through hers and almost hit her but she dodged it. "Looks like equipty might actually give me a little bit of a challenge." She cracked her knuckles. She formed another sword and we clashed again. With our swords against each other. I reequipped but it didn't break it. "Come on, you actually thought I would use the same strategy over again? Thinking something different would happen? That's funny." She began to apply more pressure and my own sword was getting close to cutting me. Then an evil smile appeared. "Puch of the sea!" She punched me in the gut with a large amount of power followed by a wave of water, but thanks to my armor it didn't affect me as much. I was still standing when the waves disappeared.
"I'll just tell you now your magic isn't going to be nearly as effective anymore." "Your bluffing." She began to do speed attacked again. I felt the pain again. Is my armor actually not working. I reequipped again. "Knives of the water." A cloud came above me. This was really similar to one of Zeke's moves. I reequipped to Adamantine Armor and shielded myself it. The daggers were going through my shield, but they weren't going to go through completely. "Water whirlpool!" She began to swing her arms in a circular motion. I can't defend myself from both.
"But...before when you punched me...my armor was supposed to weaken all your attacks..." She just smiled. She lowered one hand and pointed at me and a rush of powerful water hit me. I tried my best to dig my feet in the ground, but I was starting to fall back. "Let me help you, she said, "Roar of the Water God!" Then I was hit with another powerful stream of water along with the whirlpool.
How was her magic attacks lasting so long? I couldn't hold on anymore and fell backward and all the daggers hit me cutting me. This time I didn't know if I could get up. "Haha, you sure don't live up to your name." She began to walk away. "I'll just leave you there to die." I need to get up! What if she gets to the others. I weakly tried to get up. Then she picked me up by my clothes. And halfway raised me up. The intimidation factor didn't quite work because of the height difference. "You really don't know when to give up. I'll give you that." Then she threw me to the ground. The power from her made me make a crater in the earth.
"Just give up already. You can barely stand and I have no scratches." "No!" I said. I tried to pick myself up. Then I stood up. I held my sword out. "I will not give up until I'm dead." "Seems like your almost there, but I have to give credit where credit is due. You do have determination." I reequipped to my Fairy Amour. "In this amour, I will win for the guild." "Are we getting more serious? This will be fun." She formed another sword made of water. "With this sword, I will defeat the undefeatable Erza at her own game." She charged me but I dodged. Then we sword fought back and forth.

This going nowhere we are both outsmarting each other's attacks. Then I reequipped again. Heavens Wheel! I sent at least 50 swords flying towards her. She began to dodge all of them. Then a smirk appeared on her face. "Current of the Water God!" Then all the swords began shooting back at me. I tried to dodge them but some hit me because I was not expecting it.
I don't have a choice I have to use the Nakagami Armor. I don't know if I have enough power, but I have to try. I don't know how many people there are but they wiped out a whole village. Who knows what they are capable of. I stood up with all the energy I had left. "Sweety I hate to tell you, but changing your amour isn't going to help you at this point. " "This amour isn't like the rest," I said strongly.
I hit her and she was sent flying back. The power from it destroyed everything around her. This is it she's finally down theses no way she can stand up... Then I saw her getting up when the dust was settling. She wiped the blood off her face. "I have to say that amour packs quite the punch!" How is she able to stand up my amour is supposed to knock out anyone in one hit!
"Water piercer!" I canceled out the magic. "Water aline!" She sent several more attacks all of which I canceled. Then I ran straight up to her and hit her again. This time she fell twice as far. She didn't get up. "You're lucky I didn't have my partner with me otherwise you would have been easily defeated." She said weakly. I fell to the ground. I was almost completely drained of all my magic. I changed back to my regular amour. I dragged myself out of that section of the maze.
Water godslayer pov
My magic was almost restored I could have easily gotten up and fought more and defeated her in her weak state, but I have to obey masters orders. Good job Erza Scarlet, enjoy your victory! Next time we meet I won't even let the thought of victory enter your head.
Gray pov
A heavy iron block fell in front of the exit. "You're running the wrong direction I'm this way." We turned around to see a man. I could sense how much magic he had it was a tremendous amount more than anything I had ever sensed before, being in the presence of it made the ground shake. "So you two are the ones that "defeated" Tikan. "Yes!" I said confidently. "And we can do the same for you!" "Don't make me laugh. Tikan was by far the weakest. I'm actually more suprised he lasted that long. He was more crazy than powerful. We aren't even one the same level. Don't waste my time." "Ice make Hammer!" I through it and he caught it and crushed it. "Like I said don't waste my time." "Blackthorns!" The vines came from the ground covered in thorns and wrapped around us. I tried to freeze them but nothing happened.
Juvia tried to use water slicer, but they cut nothing. Then they threw us far away to a spot of the maze I had not seen before. I didn't have the strength to get up neither did Juvia. "It's up to the rest now."
