Chapter 23

Zeke pov

When I went out for a walk I wondered around town and then I decided to go to the local park. It was really peaceful and pretty out. Then the air suddenly smelt like (y/n). Ugh why. She's not here she probably out with Tarek. Then I saw them on the bench and Tarek leaning in towards (y/n). No this is not happening!

Then it all suddenly just happened I didn't even think about it. I picked up a rock and threw it at them. It hit Tarek in the face. He immediately stopped and screamed in pain. I ducked behind a tree. What did I just do!! I turned around to see Gray standing right behind me. I was completely frozen in fear. Gray's face looked like Erza's. I had never seen him like this. He grabbed my arm and dragged me out without them seeing us.

(Y/n) pov

Tarek leaned in closer. Then a rock flew by my head and hit Tarek. He screamed from surprise. "Tarek! I'll take you to the doctor!" I said in a panic. "No, don't I'm fine." He said calmly. "You're bleeding!" "I'm a sky godslayer I can heal my wounds." Tarek heald himself. "At least you're okay. Whos that jerk that threw that if I find them, I'm, going to beat the crap out of them! Come on! Show yourself!" "Clam down (y/n) they're probably gone now." "I guess the important thing is you are okay." We held hands and decided to end the day there, but we planned to meet up again the next day.

Zeke pov
"I knew something bad would happen, good thing I followed you. What the frick were you thinking?! You just threw a rock another human for no good reason!" "Don't worry he's a sky godslayer hes fine," I said coldly. "What if you missed and hit (y/n)?" "I'm a stone dragonslayer the least I could do is throw a stone properly." "I'm trying to make a point! What you just did was completely irresponsible and assault!" "He's fine. End of story. You're just talking to talk." I began to walk away. "I'm done listening to you, bye," I said annoyed. 

"No, you're not leaving. Juvia use waterlock." I was soon encased in water that I couldn't get out of. "How did you even know she was here?" "I didn't, but I knew there was a good chance she was." I began to turn to stone to try and fall out but to no avail. I don't need to be there to use some of my attacks. "Sorry about this Juvia, but stone rain!" Stones began to fall from the sky making large holes when they hit the ground. "Juvia's body is made of water physical attacks will not work." Crap I forgot. None of my attacks will work. I have another option though.

"You need to listen to me. I don't think you understand the gravity of what you just did." Gray continued. "No, I did I just don't care," I say casually. "What's wrong with you?" "I think the better question is what's wrong with you?" "I seriously don't get you one minute your sad the next your okay, then the next second your this! You're basically on your man period!" "How dare you make Gray-sama mad!" Juvia began to make the space I had smaller, perfect.

"You need to go apologize to Tarek and (y/n)." "That's the last thing I am doing!" "You need to apologize." He said more sternly. "Why would I? He just got what he deserved."Gray was fuming; perfect. "You know what I wish I used my magic on them." Gray couldn't hold back his rage. He charged at me and used his magic and froze the water and I quickly turned to stone before he froze me. I fell to the ground and the ice shattered.

I ran away before they could catch me again. I couldn't run home so I ran to the nearest store. I stayed there for a while and when I decided the coast was clear I left and went back home. I half expected Gray and Juvia to be waiting at my door, but luckily there weren't. Haha, Gray fell for it. My plan couldn't have worked better.

What am I saying? No, it's not happening again! I'm turning into the person I was trained to be. I was trained to totally disregard human emotions and do whatever it took to win, to escape or get what I want. I'm turning into the person I was brainwashed to be. I need to fix this. Then a voice in the back of my head said 'didn't it feel good to win, wasn't it was so easy to manipulate simple minded people?' 'No, it's wrong!'  'But it's who you're destined to be if you weren't meant to be like this why are you so good at it? You fooled two people and they followed your plan to a T.' 'No, I need to make this right. I'm never like this why now?' 'I only come out when you need me I'm like a survival instinct. You need me.'

"Zeke! Zeke!" Casper was violently shaking me. "What's happening?" "Nothing I'm fine." "But you were mumbling to yourself. I'm worried about you, lately, you've been completely out of character for you." "I'm fine I was sleeping I must have been sleeping talking or something." "Oh, sorry for waking you up." "It's fine," I say ruffling his fur on his head.

Sometimes It's best not to tell people. Casper would probably just think I'm mentally insane. 'Do you want to know what to do?' The voice continued. 'No, I never want advice from you!' 'I'm here to help you with surviving and the best way to survive is to fix what you just did.' 'It's your fault I'm in this mess.' 'It was all up to you I'm always here, you let me take over. You let your better half finally make an appearance and now you know what you're capable of.' 'Fine, what's your advice.' 

'Go and apologize to Gray and Juvia, say you were being a douche before and you already apologized to (y/n) and Tarek.' 'Okay, I'll follow your advice just this once.' 'Also, you need to learn a move to combat people like Juvia. Even though people like her are very rare to run into you should make your skill range unbeatable. I suggest stone mentality it slows the person's thoughts and reactions also it makes their bodies stone. Not enough to make them immune to attacks like you but just enough to where physical attacks will have an effect on them.'

(A/n): I have finished this book and now have the rest of the chapters on draft! Its 40 chapters in total and I'm going to be updating twice a day. (Unless I get lazy on editing lol I probably will). Anyway as always thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed!
