(Y/n) pov

"I haven't talked to Tarek since yesterday, and I'm not going to be the first one to reach out. It may be salty, and petty, but I don't really care at this point. He's the one that's all paranoid. You know what I'm going to hang out with Zeke! It's been like a month! Take that!" "Who are you talking to?" Asked Natsu. "Ummm...Cyra..." I said embarrassed. "I wish you would just shut up already!" Said Cyra covering her ears.

"Don't tell me you are one of those people who talk to themselves," Natsu said making a cringe face. "I'm not!" I said frantically. "She definitely is!" Said both Lucy and Cyra. "Hey!!" "I only speak the truth." Said Cyra laying on the ground flipping through a book uninterested. "Well, I'm going out then. Cyra you coming?" I asked trying to change the subject. "Nah, you'll be fine." "Wait!" Screamed Natsu still sitting on the living room floor. "Yeah?" "You aren't going on a job right?" "No, why?" "Because I'm not missing out on any money." "By the way..." said Happy. "You wouldn't happen to have an extra 100,000 jewels we could borrow would you?" "No, sorry." "Please!!" Said both Natsu and Happy begging. "I would, really, but I don't have any money anymore." "Huh?" Said Happy confused.

"What did you spend it on?" Asked Natsu. "Please tell me it was a lifetime supply of raw fish," "No, umm but you could say, it was on food." "This little girl managed to destroy a restaurant," Lucy said putting her arm on my head. "Haha..." I said nervously. "Who did you fight?!" Natsu said excitedly. "Ummm I can't really say." "It was Tarek." "Hey! I thought you agreed not to tell anyone!" I yelled at Lucy. "Who's Tarek?" Natsu said confused. "No one." "He's a member of Sabertooth. I told you about him before." "Oh, I don't remember." "Bye," I said before I was interrogated anymore.

I walked over to Zeke's house. I was kind of nervous to see him. It has been forever since I last hanged out with him. When I went on the job with him it went good though. I walked up the steps to his house. "Last time I did this he didn't even answer. What am I doing." I say slapping my face. "I'm overthinking something really dumb? I just need to knock. What if I do and he doesn't answer?! That's like the ultimate rejection. No, stop it (y/n), just knock. Gosh darn it, I'm talking to myself again! Ugh!!" I knocked and the door opened immediately.

I stepped back in surprise. "Haha! the look on your face." "How did you answer as quickly?" "I heard your full-blown conversation with yourself." I began to turn red from embarrassment. "Did you hear what I said?" I asked nervously. "Yep, only the whole thing, but hey this time I answered. Don't be upset, lots of people talk to themselves." "Really?" I said hopefully. "Ummm well I've never met anyone besides you who does that, but I'm sure there is someone as weird as you out there." "You dumb dumb!" I said shoving him with my face still red. "Why did you come?" "I just wanted to hang out with you like old times," I said smiling.

"Okay! What were you thinking about doing?" "Umm, you know what movie we wanted to watch?" "Yeah..." "(a movie you want to see)!" We both said at the same time. "Hehe. Oh, wait I can't..." "Why not?" He asked. "I ummm I don't have any money left." "How did you spend all of that in a week?!" "Damage fees," I mumbled. "Oh, that makes sense now. Don't worry though I can pay." "Thank you!" I said giving him a hug. 

"Yeah," He said pushing me away. We walked to the movie theater, but we were way too earlier. "Have any ideas to kill time?" Oh crap, I forgot the jacket I got him. I left it out to dry yesterday when Tarek left I just walked around the streets. They were completely empty, but I ended up getting soaked. When I got home Lucy scolded me because I could have gotten a cold, and I had to also tell her how I have no money anymore, so that was fun. I also did start to feel a little sick, but nothing a healing spell couldn't handle though.  

"Actually, I have a present I wanted to give you, but I left it at home." "Oh, we can go back, then." We walked back and we talked, about really nothing, but it didn't matter because we were talking again. When we got back, I quickly ran in with Zeke behind me. Natsu and Happy were still there. "Why are you back so early?" asked Lucy. "I just forgot something." "Hey, Zeke," called Natsu. "I haven't seen you in a while." "Hey," Zeke said back. 

"Got it!" I yelled. I held up the jacket. "Sorry I had to wear it yesterday because it was raining and it was the only thing I had." "No, It's great, thanks I love it!" He said Happily. Then he put it on, "Perfect fit too, now I feel bad I didn't get you anything." He said. "You silly." "Huh?" "You're buying me a movie ticket." "I guess, but still..." "Don't worry about it I just wanted to get you something," I say slapped him on the back. "Okay, we are going to head out before its too late. Bye everyone,"

"I'll race you there," I say. "Okay, but no power-ups," "You figured out my secret plan," I said frowning. "I know you too well for you to plan stuff like that." "Whatever 3...2...1...GO!" We both ran and I barely beat him. "Haha someone has been slacking." "I just let you win, you know for your self-esteem." "Yeah sure," I said rolling my eyes. "Come on we got to get popcorn before there is a line," I said tugging on his arm. We got 2 large popcorns because I don't share and drinks and we got the best seats in the theater. After the ads, the lights dimmed and the movie started.

Zeke pov

Sure I was excited about the movie, but I was happier I could be with (y/n). I never want this moment to go.
