Chapter 33

Zeke pov
"I have known Casper for 3 years. I wanted to originally join Sabertooth and I know more than just dragonslayer magic." I said. "The lie is you know more than just dragonslayer magic," said Tarek. "Nope! It's wanting to join Sabertooth, over the Summer Canna taught Zeke some card magic." "(Y/n)'s right." I said cheerfully. "I lost again. This game is no fair. You two know too much about each other." "That's what happens when you've been best friends for so long." (A/n): I know they have been BFFs for like half a year that was on purpose. "Yeah, I guess," I said. 

"Let's play something else." "Like what?" (y/n) asks. "I don't know." "I kind of done playing games." "Okay, we can just talk then." "Have you seen any signals?" Tarek asks. "Nope. Everyone must still be in the maze." "Hey," said Tarek pointing ahead.  "I think that's the center. " We ran over and saw a circular area. "I think we have!" "We're halfway there!" "Can we take a break now?" Me and Tarek both ask. "Not a chance."  "There is like 4 different ways we can go? Which one?" "I feel like the center would be most likely," I said. "Yeah..." "What if that's too obvious," Tarek says. "We got this far from my chooses though." "True..." "(Y/n)  you chose." Said Tarek. "Ummm if I go purely on logic I have to go with evidence I have to go with Zeke." Yess! "Come on!!" "You asked me." 

We walked to one of the center ones.  When (y/n) put one foot in a brick began to fall from the sky. "(Y/n)!" I said while pulling her back. The block barely missed her. "Thank you," she said and gave me a small hug. "Why would a block fall?" Tarek asked. "Booby traps?" "Oh cool!" (Y/n)'s eyes began to light up like they always did when she was excited. "This instantly makes this twice as interesting!" "Either way this isn't the right way. Looks like someone was wrong." "There's still another one in the center lets go down that." This time vines grew over the entrance. 

"If the maze is booby-trapped why now?" I said. "And all the traps are right away." "Maybe the maze is trying to help us?" Suggested (Y/n). "I don't know..." "Let's just take the other way," said Tarek. "Also I was right!" "Whatever," I say rolling my eyes. Then we went to the one on the right. Then ice blocks fell from the sky and they blocked all the exits. "Great now we're stuck." "No, I'll just melt the ice."

"No, need." I look over and a man behind us. I instinctively jumped back in surprise. "Who are you?" "I'm Zhuang, and you guys are..." "I'm Zeke, this is (Y/n) and this is Tarek." "Are you looking for the key too?" He held up a key. "This key?" "Yes! how did you find it?!" "You're so lucky you get the money," said Tarek. "Do you know what this key can do?" he asked ignoring our questions. "No.," said (y/n). "Oh, that's interesting, this key is the reason we were able to take care of that village."

"Wait what?..." I said confused. "You were one of the people that..." Before (Y/n) could finish her sentence we were grabbed by blackthorns. I began to frantically try to use Roar of the Stone Dragon to break them. (Y/n) was trying to freeze them and Tarek was trying to speed himself up to run and brake the vines. Gosh, he's is such a dumbass. You would never known he was from the slayer project. "Don't bother what you guys are trying to do won't work. My blackthorns are an advanced spell that only certain things can break. None of which any of you seem to have."

Tarek pov

My running wasn't working at all. Then my brain suddenly changed I was in a completely different zone. This is what I was trained to be. Think dark blackthorns, black, dark, very few people can break, none of us seem to have. I got it. "(Y/n) use the magic you learned form Sting." I yelled. "He's right!" agreed Zeke. "Okay,"  "This Sting character's magic isn't going to get you out," he said. "Holy Ray!" she yelled. The rays broke through the thorns. They disintegrated as the light touched it. Zhuang looked confused. 

Zeke quickly charged him and turned his hand to stone. Zhuang dodged and Zeke did a back handspring and launched himself and turned his foot to stone and hit him on the side. That fighting was definitely Zeke's fast and aggressive with no room for people to think. He hit the floor abruptly. "If all u know is dark magic we have someone who will completely destroy you," said Zeke. 

"Someone like me would never limit themselves to just one type of magic, but first I'll use the key." He pulled out the key and said: "Ikusa-Tsunagi, grant me power." He began to glow.
