𝐋𝐄𝐎𝐍'𝐒 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐒 𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐂. The eventful night had ended after they fixed the ley lines and now, Magnus was back to make sure the Core was completely off of the grid.
Alec had banished Raj and his friends to Wrangle Island after the stunt they pulled, and Leon didn't really lose sleep over it. That stunt could've gotten them all killed if Alec hadn't pulled the lever before any demonic shockwave could hit the ley lines.
"Hey, Finnick, I can't really — "
"I just wanted to let you know that I can't help you out tonight." Leon knew Finnick was talking about going hunting for the Owl Demon before he attacked again. Finn had offered to assist Leon since wolves were excellent trackers and originally, he wouldn't take no for an answer. "Glenn is in the hospital."
Leon furrowed his brows and stopped walking in the middle of the hall. "I'm sorry, what are you talking about?"
"Yeah, your vampire friend did something and Glenn may never walk again."
Leon's brows only furrowed deeper in confusion. "Are you talking about Simon? What happened?"
Finnick launched into a quick explanation about how some of the wolves surrounded Simon and threatened him to leave. Then Glenn went after him with a baseball bat, prompting something on Simon's forehead to blast Glenn back into a delivery truck.
Leon sighed and rubbed a hand over his head. "Well, I hope Glenn gets better. I'm sorry about Simon. I'll talk to him and see what happened."
"Thanks, Leon. I gotta go but we'll talk later."
The two friends bid each other a farewell and Magnus quirked up an eyebrow at Leon. Leon just waved him off, rubbing his head through his short hair again. "It's nothing you have to worry about, Magnus."
"But you seem stressed, Monkey."
Leon sighed as they continued walking in search of Alec. "I'm just worried about Simon."
They entered the weapons room to see if Izzy was there or if she'd seen her brother, but luck was on their side because Alec was with Izzy.
"There you are!" Leon breathed as the two of them approached the siblings. Alec turned his head to see the two of them enter the weapons room and immediately, Leon could see something was off.
But apparently, Magnus didn't notice anything. "Good news: the Core is off the ley line grid and free of demonic corruption," he perked up, a smile on his face.
