DANCE WITH THE DEVIL
Lucille Lux sounds like a name that a comic superhero would have, like Barry Allen or Clark Kent. It was safe to say that Lucille Lux didn't inherit the qualities of a superhero, she was the protagonist, the villain. She tortured, murdered and indulged in unspeakable acts always wearing a sinister smirk on her angelic face. Lucille lusted after chaos and destruction, she had no goal in mind and enjoyed the sick torment of mortal souls. She wasn't like good catholic Steve Rogers, her wrath for God consumed every divine fiber in her body. Her silvertongue cursed God with profanities, deceit flowed like a river from her celestial mouth and lies breathed through her teeth. She was a monster among angels, a demonic snake hiding behind divine skin. Lucille was the poisonous thorn that pierced your finger when clutching a rose, she caused blood to gush. Among the mortal realm she was well known by a different name, a name that stirred fear and outrage. It was a name that kept catholic children shaking in their pathetic boots, the name was...
Satan.
It may surprsie you that the Devil is a woman and, that she comes in the form of a sixteen year-old girl. Don't be fooled by her appearence, it is just a mere form, an illusion of the monstrous beast that hides within. Lucille Lux doesn't have two pointy horns or a tail, she doesn't appear as a little red man sitting on ones shoulder and she isn't a voice in someone's head. The Devil was an angel before she fell, she retained her celestial beauty whilst being remade in hellfire. Her golden locks paler and her eyes burning azure. Her story is well known.
It is no secret that mortality and mortals piss Lucille off, they thought her to be a man and the idea offended her. A man didn't have what it took to be the Queen of the burning inferno they called Hell, men were weakminded and easily tempted by the seven deadly sins. They were incompetent oafs in Lucille's opinion and, the only male she would ever come to trust would be Albus Dumbledore. A man burdened with other people's sins and regrets yet still somehow pure. Of course there is the newlymade demon Cato, gifted with unbearable intelligence and infomation about everything; the future, past and present. The devil often wondered how he aqquired the gift. She didn't dare think of her Father.
God was quite cruel to Lucille, his favourite child and only daughter. Originally he had named her Seraph, she was the first Archangel and the first to be exiled to Hell. Her father, God, cared more about humanity than his own children and often found himself neglecting them in order to look after his fragile toys. Everyone was worried, the angels and heavens inhabitants; God through his neglect forgot about Heaven. The pearl white gates rusted and the bright valleys slowly rotted, Lucille did something about it. She didn't want her home to be demolished because of her fathers Toys, he didn't like his humans being called Toys or Dolls. Maybe Lucille had been to harsh with her words, disowning her father angered him. Insubordination, it wouldn't be tolerated.
He casted her out and tore her white feathered wings apart, she fell through the realms and landed in a fiery pit of despair. The fire melted her down, flesh oozing on the coal rocks as she screamed in pain for a thousand years before emerging changed. A certain callousness to her face, a new sultry confidence and a thirst for destruction of everything her father created. She began with the tempting of Adam and Eve, gained the trust and alliengence of Lillith. Plagues and floods followed after. Souls of the damned began to appear, the nefarious ones morphing into monstrous creatures and some retained part of their human form.
Leviathon, Astaroth, Bael, Abbadon, Lillith and Alastair. The names of a few original demons that helped create chaos, that chaos grew into a burning kingdom where tortured souls screamed for mercy. Lucille often left Hell to torment the mortals and to make deals for favors or their souls.
She once stumbled upon a man that begged her to make him powerful to avenge his family's murderer, to make him last longer and do things no mortal could not. Lucille granted this deal to him, granting him a miniscule amount of her magic, what she didn't expect was for a nation to grow. The Wizarding Society. Yes, magic was a product of the Devil but strangely God didn't condemn it like he had done her. It was centuries later a man, Salazar Slytherin, summoned her asking for a gift that could be passed down genetically. Finding his last name similar to that of a serpent she granted him the ability to speak to snakes, an ability she also had. She attended Hogwarts with Salazr as a Professor learning about potions and alchemy. Nearly a thousand years later she would do the same thing with his descendant.
Returning to reminisce about the past she finds a soul with abyssal monstrosities that captures her with its allure. That soul belonged to Tom Riddle. The boy who caught Satan wandering the halls of Hogwarts. Lucille would've never believed that she would have to fake being an abandoned german orphan with the gift of rasing the dead.
Finding the arrival and circumstances of Lucille 'Luxembourg' strange, Dumbledore asks her to revive Myrtle Warren from the dead who had been placed under a preservation spell. That's when it all went wrong.
Lucille, The Devil, fucked up the future and now, she has to fix it. That could mean becoming the villain herself, driving Tom Riddle deeper into the path of darkness or creating a new protagonist. Tom Riddle better be careful because...
When you dance with the devil your bound to get burnt.
IT TAKES A MONSTER
TO DO MONSTROUS THINGS.
