There was the soft ticking of the clock and the booming laughter of children at the table of Slytherin but everything was drowned out. My ears were ringing as Tom Riddle smirked evilly at me. To anybody else this might've been a friendly gesture, it was a threat. My working out was wrong but somehow I ended up with the right answer however, at anytime it could go dastardly wrong. That sheet was a second way to kill me and with Gabriel out for blood... I could only imagine the sheer joy he might have if he obtains the piece of paper. Riddle might be one of the darkest wizards but he was no match for an Archangel or The Devil. My body was stiff out of shock, there was no doubt in my mind that he too, the devious minx, had a plan that I was apart of. It more than likely, involved my murder by Riddle himself. Clenching my fists and my teeth I glared at Tom Riddle's sinister face.
"She is not a god," I hissed making a grab for the sheet, he shived it in his pants pocket smirking as he tutted me. "Your not normal, Lucille Lux and I don't think your english either."
"Great observation fuckface." I huffed and sunk back into my chair acting defeated, there was a small tingling inside me gut. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw his face darken with anger and confusement. "What?" He asked, "I don't repeat myself," I smirked wryly at him.
His cold skeletal hand snaked our and curled around mine, I flinch in pretend at his coldness and he does at mine. His fingers began to dig into my porcelain hand the polished fingernails drawing crimson blood.
He leaned into my ear, "Watch yourself," he hissed, "Lux." It was a warning, a warning I wouldn't adhere to.

I was carelessly spread across the rock in the forbidden forest. Cato and Maze sat with each other lazily, picking at each other's hair like apes. The teacher who was already missing two limbs and had numerous scars in his face was clapping his hands. We weren't school children.
My body didn't move from the rock, my shirt had moved up to reveal my stomach. This I didn't mind but it seemed that this display of skin in conservative Hogwarts was noticeable; to the male species.
Dark heavy footsteps approached the rock, I could already tell who it was from the slither in their footsteps. Groaning I opened my eyes, Cato and Maze were already standing abruptly not letting him pass. Waving me hand lazily they sat back down again glaring at Riddle.
"The teacher has called you multiple times," I squinted at him, "Yes, I know."
"You stomach is showing," he stated, his eyes didn't trail to my stomach. He looked away red, I smirked as he looked back.
"Is it?" I questioned before sitting up. The smirk on face turned into purses lips as I stretch my arms and back. The shirt had risen and slid down again, he regained his cold facial expression.
"Detention, you'll roam the halls with me tonight," he quickly sped away on his heel before I used my magic to make him trip.
He landed face first into the dirt, the other Slytherins struggled to keep their giggles hidden. I could see him gripping his wand as he gracefully stood up.
"I don't like detention." I blew at my nails before standing up and flicking the dirt at him.
"Well," He stepped closer towards means rose up like a rattle snake, "I'm the prefect," he jabbed my shoulder before shoving on to the ground. I hissed as my bottom collided with the muddy floor. "You have to listen to me Lucille." He smirked triumphantly before the teacher called our attention.
"Class! Class, come gather 'round." He gestured to everyone who formed a semi circle, the teacher held his finger to his mouth to signal 'sssshhh.' I scoffed.
Out of the shadows of the trees emerged a group of Thestrals. The death looking horses screech in happiness at the sight of the students, their yearning for affection screaming out. My gaze took pity on them. As they moved forward Cato and Maze stepped backwards afraid of he unknown creature. As the thestrals walked towards me, my hands latched around their neck pulling it closer to me.
The students watched in wonder as they watched me hug something that was invisible. Tom Riddle gazed at me amused before he looked at the Thestrals. Of course he would be able to see them.
He walked towards the one I was showering with affection and scratched behind its ears, "You see them?" He whispered hauntingly. In this moment he seemed vulnerable, I needed to remind him that I was not.
"Yes, it seems killing let's you see Thestrals," his head whipped around to see if anyone heard. He wasn't sure if that was directed at him or if it was an offhand comment about herself. All he responded with was 'Hmmm.' He watched her with curiosity as she stroked the hard shell of the Thestral. She was so kind to it...
