~Soulmates, I guess~

Jen listened to the whole story. They had got to their church and were taking in their rooms. "Danny-"

"I told you stop calling me that."

"Fine, Daniel, you can suppress it. You're stuck with him."

Daniel sighed. "I know, but I dont want what happened to-" he sighed. "Look, I don't believe in soulmates, especially not my rival. Soulmates are a person you love, not hate."

Daniel clenched his teeth and put his head down. "Jen, am I being too hard on myslef, or him?"

Jen patted his back. "Both. You are putting to much pressure on him and he didn't do anything wrong. Just try to like him more. Go back there and apologize."

Daniel lifted his head. "Fucking fine. I'll do that." Jen smiled. "That's the spirit!"

"Dont get too cocky." Daniel rolled his eyes.

David was on the couch trying to decipher what happened. He wanted to be with Daniel, but at the same time he hated his guts. Daniel was a charming guy to David, but he tried to kill him and the campers multiple times. He sighed as he heard Max walk through te front door.

"Hey dad I'm home- what happened?" Max said worried. Hs saw David with his hands on his head and tearing up.

"Hey Max, don't worry about me kiddo-" Max was already putting on Disney movies and going into the kitchen. "No, fuck that. I'm helping you cheer up, whoever the fuck messed you is the enemy." David laughed and helped Max make popcorn.

Together they watched Disney and ate popcorn with M&Ms. "Dad, what did happen?" Max asked after awhile. "Somebody that hurt me is my soulmate, we both found out and they got mad at me." Max frowned, for a moment.

Then he was cussing and punching pillows. "You're soulmates a fucking asshole, you don't need them!"

David laughed. "Thank you Max." Max sat down with his arms crossed and huffed. "That person is not coming in here without a punch to the leg!"
