As we heard gunshots I held onto Octavia for comfort. Octavia was still asleep surprisingly. They stopped so Bellamy and I took Octavia out of the closet and went back to the bed. Just as I was helping Bellamy lay Octavia down, Octavia woke up wit a scream after a loud bang. I quickly looked from the shooter to Octavia. She had been shot in the stomach. As my eyes widened, I felt a pain in my leg. I had been shot too. The shooter was caught and I looked to Bellamy. Bellamy quickly ran out. Only 3 people were shot outside our room. Bellamy went out and brought a doctor back. The doctor checked out my wound and there was an exit wound which meant that there was no bullet in my body. I heard Octavia on the other bed grunting and panicked. She had two doctors around her. I listened in as the doctors said “No exit wound.” I listened to the sound of Octavia fighting for air as they tamed to my bullet wound.

Octavia:
As I laid on the bed with a bullet in my stomach I figured that this was it. It felt like I was suffocating. I looked up at the ceiling and just closed my eyes. A few seconds later, I felt a sharp pain. I couldn't help my scream. Bellamy ran to the other side of the bed and grabbed my hand. "Its okay. It's going to be fine." He said looking at me. The doctors took the bullet out of my slim body and covered my wound with a bandage. I looked over to Clarke who was already done. As soon as they finished got up. I didn't want to lay down anymore. I inched myself over to a chair facing a window and looked out. A few seconds later I heard Clarke make her way to the same spot. She sat next to me and I dazed into the window. "Octavia? Are you okay?" She asked. I nodded slightly and continued to look outside. I don't know how long we sat there in complete silence. All I knew was that it was nice to have Clarke by my side. I felt myself get tired but I fought the feeling and continued to look at the city out the window. It was getting late and the buildings lit up. Clarke was in the same awe I was looking at the lit up city. Eventually I lost my fight with sleep. My head bobbed and few times before it ended up dropping down onto Clarke's shoulder.
Clarke:
As Octavia slowly fell asleep in an upright position I couldn't help but smile. Today has been hell. I looked over to where her head finally landed on my shoulder and smiles bigger looking at the sleeping girl on my shoulder. I felt myself get tired but I didn't fight it. I slowly leaned back careful not to wake up Octavia and leaned on the back of the seat. I rested my head on the seats back and fell asleep within minutes.
I woke up in the middle of the night in my bed and Octavia was in hers. The sound of faint crying woke me. I looked to the side and Octavia was asleep but crying. I got up knowing that she was having another nightmare. They were becoming more consistent. I pulled myself up on the bed with my wounded leg and laid down next to Octavia. I ran my fingers through her hair and she calmed. I smiled and listened to her breathing. There was a slight snore in her breathing proving her sleep was deep. I laid my head next to hers.

Octavia:
I woke up to Clarke's fingers running softly through my hair. I looked over and I could feel that my eyes were puffy. Last nights nightmare was awful. As it all came back I just nuzzled my head into Clarke's chest and sighed. I thought about the nightmare and it all came back clear.
I looked to the side and saw nothing but darkness in the old Car. Mom was taking Bellamy and I home from Grandpa's funeral. I kept my eyes peeled out the window. As I looked forward my eyes set on a car swerving back and forth rapidly. Mom dodged the headlights coming right for the front end of the car. What mom didn't see was the large telephone pole. The car crashed and all I saw was my mom halfway through the windshield and Bellamy trying to wake her up. The blood was everywhere. I had a few scratches but they weren't a concern. I got up and came towards Bellamy. "No Octavia stay back there. Don't look!" Bellamy said in attempt to shield her from the terrifying scene. Then I heard sirens. They got us out of the car quickly. As I sat next to Bellamy with my head down trying to process everything, I heard in the distance "it's a lost cause. She's gone." I started sobbing and Bellamy pulled me into him. We were motherless.
I think back on the dream some more. Usually I wake up as soon as the crash hits crying but I got through the whole dream twice. I shook thinking about the scene and buried my face into Clarke's hospital gown.
