Enirr:

Returning back to my surface home, the sun hung lowly in the sun. It had rose a while ago, but still was early in the day. Salem still lay in my bed causing me to pause. Her pale legs were stretched out, one arm curving under the pillow she used the other carelessly thrown beside her. My breath caught – sunlight streamed into the room dancing across her hair making it sparkle gold. Unconsciously, I moved forward until I reached the bed. My fingers ran through her locks – my heart began to speed up.

"Salem," I whispered softly, wondering if she'd wake.

The human did not budge and so I sighed, kneeling down beside the bed to gaze upon her sleeping face. My lips itched – they wished to press against hers once more. Last night she had fueled me in such a hunger I had not knew I had. A desire that would put Myserien herself to shame.

I could no longer argue my fondness of Salem. Now I feared for her life. If this strain continued on her soul, her soul would crumble into nothing. There would be no Abyss nor recycle – there would be nothing. I wished to protect her.

I would protect her.

"Enirr," she mumbled voice with sleep.

I froze then spoke quietly, "Yes Salem?"

She smiled, her eyes still shut, "I wished I had met you before Carter..."

Then she turned, snuggling back into the pillow. I pulled away quickly remembering she had a lover. This Carter human. It angered me, this pathetic and utterly worthless human was supposed to protect Salem, and yet he seemed to constantly cause her pain.

Perhaps he needed to be visited.

I stood, slipping out of the room silently, I spread my glory – calling for Akjan. Once I reached my office, there she sat on the edge of my desk. Snacking on my peach candies. That blasted woman. Sending her a glare, she snickered, moving to sit on the couch.

"You know," she drawled out, "you could get a phone and text me instead of summoning me with your glory."

"Thank you for reminding me that you had texted Lucifer about me. Gossip is not befitting of you Akjan," I snapped, "do not do it again. It annoys me. I called for you because I need you to accompany me to visit a parasitic human."

She tilted her head slightly, "What will our task entail? Shall I bring my knives?"

A grin stretched out onto my face, "Yes. Please do."

The car shop was very busy when we arrived. Upon our arrival, the entire place stopped to stare at us. We angels had that effect on humans. Foolish of them, that draw they held towards me only drew them closer to death. I did not know where this Carter resided however, it would be better I drove instead of flying.

"Mr. Hades! You have returned. We have finished your car. We are honored to have worked on it. We even had Carter – our best take care of it," the man, Donald Mayor greeted.

I tilted my head, how fate flirts with me so, "Carter you say? I'd like to personally thank him."

"Sure! I'll go get him," Donald Mayor blabbered, "then we can settle final payment."

I nodded and he went off to find the pathetic human. Once he was gone, I glanced over at Akjan. She nodded knowingly, once Carter arrived he would no longer be a problem for Salem. Someone cleared their throat, I turned my eyes laying upon a human wearing a jumper labeled "CARTER" thus he was worth no detail to remember.

"You're Eric Hades," he spoke surprised, "My girlfriend has been volunteering at your place."

"Salem is your lover then?" Akjan asked.

Carter's eyes raked carelessly over Akjan's body with lust. The unloyal human. Instead of answering, the human nodded while licking his lips. Akjan giggled, moving forward to wrap her arms around his neck. He paused slightly, looking surprised but not unpleasantly so. Not like he should.

Coiling around him like a snake, Akjan's glory moved. Caught up in her touch, the pathetic human did not notice until reality around us began to swim then change. He yelped – all too late. The space around us changed into that like clear water as time continued to move.

"What the fuck?" he cried pushing her away and looking around.

This was the ripple through reality. The space of Akjan's reality. Her place of peace. She had made it once she fell, this was where she returned when she grew tired of her games. In this place there was only Akjan the fallen angel – nothing more.

"Thank you Akjan," I hummed.

She ran a hand through her hair, "You owe me a raise."

I nodded making a mental note to up her pay, "I shall. Now shall we get to business?"

"Just let me know when I should step in," she replied.

I looked towards Carter, as his legs gave out and he looked around with wide eyes, "W-What is going on? Where are we? What do you want from me?"

"You are lover to Salem – then why is the touch of another on your skin?" Akjan questioned.

His eyes widened then narrowed, "This is about Salem? You want her inheritance too? Look, I don't want any trouble maybe we can split it?"

"Split it?" I asked growing confused.

"And how will you get the money? It would belong to her and only her. Do you plan on killing the girl?" Akjan hummed, ignoring me.

"What?" he sputtered, "God no! I'm going to marry her then divorce her. Then I get half. After that, me and Seri are going to get married and move to California."

Akjan moved towards him with a sigh, "How pitiful of you. Enirr what do you want done?"

I blinked slowly.

"He is using Salem for her money. Then he's going to steal it and run away like a coward," she explained.

I frowned not liking his intentions, "You will not. I wish for you to leave Salem."

"What?" the stupid human laughed, "Like fuck. So how'd you do this? Did you drug me or something? Listen man, if you want Salem then go for it. But just know she's all kinds of fucked. If I break up with her, I bet you she'll off herself. She needs me and I need her until she's twenty. So you can fuck right off."

My eyes narrowed and I allowed my anger to call upon my glory. My wings broke free of my back as my human clothing melted and changed into a long, black cloak made of the fabric of my Abyss. My scythe formed in my hand, and I slammed the bottom down onto the ground. The human gasped, then like pathetic trash he was, began to urinate his pants.

"D-D-Demon!" he cried, weeping.

Akjan giggled, "Enirr he called you a demon."

I ignored her, staring down at the human, "You will leave Salem and be lucky I am not taking your life. However, it seems you do not wish to learn peacefully. Akjan, do with him what you wish then return him home."

She smiled widely, brandishing her blades, "You got it boss."

Listening to the satisfying screams, I took my leave.
