(A/n) as the title states, this is an alternate ending for an episode that has not aired yet, so read at your own risk. Also some stuff may be a bit inaccurate as I have only watched this episode once and I have no clips that I can watch to refresh my memory even though I had just watched this episode

thank you

P.K.O. fell on the ground, exhausted as he changed back into K.O. He knew he and his friends have won, Foxtail's ship already was destroyed, and the plaza would be back to normal once again.

He wanted to get up and go outside and see his mom after a couple of months of her being in hiding, it was a nice thought, but he could hardly move. He'd used up all his energy, and he felt weak, and his eyes felt heavy.

He figured he was extremely tired. After all, it seems like in a lot of media that people either die or become extremely tired after using a super powerful attack. He didn't let his mind wander towards the idea of death, though, after all, he was only a 6 to 11 year old.

Then, the thought of his age crossed his mind. He was only 6 to 11, for all he knows, that could've been way too much for his body to handle, and he could've done something extremely bad to himself.

He tried to get up, but he fell back down immediately. His eyes kept on getting heavier with each passing minute, and he felt weak, and he could hardly move. He just decided to close his eyes and let this moment pass, knowing soon he'd wake up at his house with his mom there waiting

Before the plaza went back to normal, Enid, Rad, and Carol decided to look for K.O. inside, hoping he'd be safe and unharmed. After not too long of looking, Enid decided to check where K.O. was last, and that's when she saw K.O. lying on the ground.

"Oh, there he is," she said to herself, as she began to walk away. She suddenly stopped for a moment and thought about how he was lying, and then her eyes went wide before looking back over at him. "Wait a minute.. oh, no."

She ran towards his body and picked him up. "K.O.??" Her voice was starting to break when she saw the dark lines under his eyes and his unusually pale skin. "K.O.?? Are you okay?? Please, answer me!"

Carol and Rad peaked around the corner and Enid turned towards them. "H - help! I don't think he's moving!"

Carol immediately rushed towards Enid and yanked K.O. out of her hands. "K.O.?? Sweetie? Are you okay?" After not getting a response, she lied him down, face-up, and checked for a heartbeat, and she immediately felt her heart sink when she realized there was no pulse.

She, in a state of panic, started pressing on his chest, trying to do cpr, while she was starting to break down crying. Enid and Rad couldn't do much except stand there and watch, hardly even able to look away.

After trying time after time to get K.O. to breathe, Carol realized it wasn't going to work, and that's when she stopped. She slowly stopped pressing on his chest and moved her arms away, and she sat there, tears quietly streaming down her face.

"Hey, uh, are you guys okay?" Foxtail asked, as she walked into the area the four were in. "You guys have been in here a while and I was just checking up on you."

Carol looked up at Foxtail and immediately started yelling and screaming at her about how she killed her child. She kept on yelling until she felt sick and couldn't do it anymore. She fell onto her knees, still crying despite her chest hurting from all of it.

She lost her child, and he was gone. All because of what Foxtail had done, and also because she wasn't there to help him when he needed her. She could've prevented this, and this thought only made her feel worse.

Enid picked up K.O.'s limp body and sadly carried it back outside, knowing her happy and joyful friend will no longer be able to spend time with her or Rad.

Carol, however, just stayed there, crying her eyes out.

This was all her fault, and nothing would ever fix it. She failed at being a mother, and K.O. had to suffer the consequences.

And that was a thought she couldn't bear.

(A/n) kinda simple but I'm kinda proud of it. Not the best at reactions, though, just the death, usually, haha. Thanks for reading though, votes and comments are appreciated ^^
