After the Business Trip

Chapter 3

Pete POV

This has been the best night ever. I have never felt so drawn to someone and he is just so nice and sweet and oh, I can't forget, HOT... Oh, yes. He is freaking hot and some of those looks that he gave me were just too freaking sexy that he is almost begging me to go from a good boy to a very naughty boy tonight. Oh, I wish I had the courage to do something naughty.

I sigh to myself as Ae pulls into my hotel's parking lot. Well, I guess this wonderful night is over with and I'm going to go back home to my boring lonely life. Oh, I wish he would come with me or that I could stay here, but that is completely crazy talk. Who up and leaves their job, family and friends for someone that you met just one night? Not only that, I still don't know if he is gay. I can't change my life for someone that is straight and then be crushed when they turn me down flat.

I'm going to just chalk this up to a wonderful evening and a lovely memory that I will never forget.

As Ae is parking the car, I turn and softly say, "Thank you for a wonderful time. I'm so glad that I was able to spend the night with you and your friends. I had so much fun."

Ae puts the car in park and turns off the engine. He slowly turns towards me and chimes, "Why don't I walk you up to your room, so I know that you got there safely."

I don't understand why, but my heart and body respond before my mind can say anything, as I bashfully reply, "Okay."

As I turn to get out of the car, I can't help the huge smile that pops out on my face. However, I try to quickly hide it, so Ae doesn't know that I'm glad that he is staying a little longer.

Ae hops out of the driver's side of the car and dashes around next to me and we slowly make our way into the hotel and up to my room. For once, there is awkward silence. The whole night has been nothing but a perfect dream, but now that I know that end is really close, it is getting awkward and I really hate it. I don't want to remember this last part. It will just put a damper on the rest of night.

As we approach my room, I pull my keycard out of my pocket and try to happily chime, "Well, this is my room. Again, thanks for a wonderful time." Well, I don't think my performance was any good. I could tell that I'm disappointed in his leaving and I'm sure that he can tell too.

Ae surprises me as he lightly chuckles, and I quickly look him in the eyes. What is he thinking?

He smiles at me and calmly asks, "May I come in for a moment?"

I'm shocked. Well, I'm happy too, but I'm completely shocked. I wasn't expecting that answer, but once again my heart and body take over (I'm sure that part of it is because of all the alcohol that I drank tonight) and I quickly reply, "Okay."

Well, at least it didn't come out like I have been waiting and dreaming about this moment. It sounded more aloof, but hopefully he didn't pick up on the spring in my step as I turn and unlock the door.

As I step into the hotel room, my heart once again betrays me and begins to beat wildly. Oh, this is just too much excitement for one night. What am I going to do now?

I keep glancing back to see if Ae is really following me into my room. I still can't belief that this is happening. If this had been any other guy, I wouldn't have been so willing. Actually, I wouldn't have went with him to the other bar. Instead, I would have just went back to my hotel room and spent a boring night watching TV. However, it isn't just any guy and I've been completely mesmerized by him. Regardless of what I do, I can't seem to pull myself away from him.
