After the Business Trip

Chapter 8

A/N:  Here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy it. 

I think Wattpad is stable enough to upload, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that it doesn't act up again.

Pete POV

I dash into the office and I make my way to my desk. I quickly glance around to see if anyone is watching me as I plop down in my chair. I quickly turn on my computer and before I can even put my bag away, Max and Fai are standing on either side of me. Well, that didn't take long.

Before anyone can say good morning, Max impatiently asks, "Soooooo.... How was last night?"

Fai quickly adds, "Oh, and this morning! Did you have each other for breakfast?"

Well, nothing like being direct. I should be used to my friends by now, but they still seem to surprise me from time to time. I will have to say that I'm a little surprised. I know that they would question me, but I didn't think that they would immediately go for the big stuff, like did we have sex yet. Man, what type of person do they think I am.

Just at the thought of having sex with Ae, I instantly blush.

Max immediately shouts, "Oh, they did. Look at how much Pete is blushing."

Fai happily claps her hands. "Yes. I knew that Pete wouldn't chicken out. I could see the look in his eyes yesterday and he wanted to devour Ae for lunch. That's my boy!" She quickly pats me on my back as I look at her like she has completely lost her mind. Well, I think she really has, but I'm not going to say anything.

I slowly shake my head and bashfully mumble, "Uhm, we didn't go that far yet."

Both Max and Fai's mouths drop wide open, but before they can quiz me on the details, our manager walks in and announces, "Meeting in the conference room in 5 minutes. Bring your stuff for the project and be ready to answer questions." Then he abruptly walks into his office.

Well, I guess this is going to be a long day.

Max and Fai quickly scurry back to their desks and grab their things. I don't wait for them as I grab my stuff and head into the conference room.

Oh, that was a long morning. Well, we had thought that we got through the toughest part last night, but it was only the beginning. The only good part with this next phase is that it doesn't have to be done tonight. We have a couple of weeks to get the next part done which means that I can leave and go home at a decent time, instead of getting home late like I did last night.

I sit down at the table with my lunch and before I even take a bite of my food, I quickly pull my phone out and I send Ae a message. I haven't been able to talk to him all morning. Management has had us in meeting after meeting regarding the plans for the next phase of the project and my hand was constantly itching to send Ae a message. Oh, I hope that he isn't bored at home.

I smile at my phone as I hit send.

Max nudges my shoulder as he walks past and teases, "Can't resist sending Ae a message, can you?"

Fai giggles as she walks past me to the other side of the table. "Did you see him in those meetings? I thought for sure that he was going breakdown and start sending messages to Ae." She turns and looks at me. "Dude, you are going crazy here. You need to relax a little bit. Ae isn't going to leave just because you went to work. The man just picked up all his stuff and moved hours to be here with you, so I don't think that he is going to leave anytime soon."
