A/N:  Here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy it.

Ae POV

I don't know why we were so worried about what Pete's mother was planning. It turns out that she just wanted to spend some time with her son and her future son-in-law. Nothing more. Well, she did try to ask if we could see ourselves with each other for the rest of our lives, and we immediately replied that we do. I have never felt this way before and I doubt that I could feel this way with anyone else. The one and only person for me is Pete.

I smile across the table at Pete as his mother puts some more food on my plate. This feels so right.

Pete's mother asks, "So, Pete said something about getting a job. What exactly are you going to be doing? Oh, didn't you do something with golf previously?"

I turn my focus to her. I smile and nod. "Yes. I will still be doing something golf, but this time instead of being on the golf course, I will be selling golf products. It is completely different, but it is still something that I know a lot about. I'm hoping that it will go well for me. The plus side is that I know a lot of people in golf already which should make this easier on me."

She nods her head. "Yes. Half the battle in business is getting the connections and building the working relationships with people. Once that is done, then the other aspects seem to fall into place." She takes a bite of her food and nods her head. "I'm sure that you will do just fine. I have confidence in you."

I turn back towards Pete. "I'll also begin to help pay the bills for the apartment too. I'm not going to continue to live there without helping out."

Pete shakes his head. "Ae, you are helping out a lot without getting a job. I enjoy coming home to you every day and you having a meal waiting for me. That is the best thing in the world."

Pete's mother leans towards Pete and places her hand on his arm. "Son let him help out. He is serious about you, and he is trying to show you that he can help out too. Let him do this, please. This also demonstrates how serious he is taking your relationship."

Pete slowly nods his head. "I will. I had already decided that I would support Ae in whatever he does."

Pete's mother smiles. "That's good." She turns back towards me. "Ae, when am I going to meet your parents. I really want to meet them. I'm sure that they are amazing people just like you. How else did you turn out so good?"

Well, I wish I could believe that. My parents haven't been in the picture for so long that I'm afraid at times that I will forget what they look like. If it wasn't for my grandmother, I would have spent most of my childhood alone. However, she passed away a few years ago, so Pete's mother won't be able to actually meet the one person who helped to shape me into the man I am today. I'm sure that Pete's mother would have gotten along with my grandmother well, and I'm sure that they would have become great friends.

I look down at my plate and I hesitantly mumble, "I don't know." I take a deep breath.  His mother deserves to know the truth. "Actually, I haven't told them about me moving here to be with Pete or that I'm dating and living with Pete." Oh, I hope she doesn't get mad.

I slowly look up at her. I'm instantly met with a stern face. Oh, this isn't good.

She slowly puts her spoon down on her plate. "Why haven't you told them about your relationship with Pete? Are you ashamed of it? Or are you worried about what they will say?"
