A/N:  Here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy it.  It is starting to get a little bumpy too.

Ae POV

I can't believe my parents and for them to do something like this on my first day of work. Well, they don't know that I got a new job because they don't take the time to actually talk to me. UGH!!!

I was nervous enough as it is, but instead of focusing on what I need to learn and how the company works, I'm having to deal with people all day long asking about my "supposed" engagement. I couldn't take it any longer and around 3pm I finally lost it. Luckily the office is all on one floor of the building.

Another person stops at my desk to ask what my fiancé is like, I slam my hands down on my desk and I push myself up. Instantly, I have the attention of the entire office, even the managers and the executives who step out of their offices due to the noise.

With anger and rage flowing through my body, I look around the office and growl, "I'm done answering questions about this engagement. I'm only going to say this once, so you better listen because I'm not repeating it. I have never met this woman and my parents have never told me about an engagement. I have no intention on getting married to her, but if you are interested in her, please feel free to go for it. It won't bother me in the least. I'm in a relationship with someone else and that is the person that I plan to marry and have a family together with. Did I forget anything?"

I glance around the room and no one says anything. I slowly turn my head towards the guy that is standing next to my desk and is the one that triggered this outburst. I raise an eyebrow and tilt my head. "Are we clear on this matter?"

He doesn't say anything and slowly steps back from me, as he nods his head. Well, I guess my first day on the job can be marked done as a complete disaster. I'm hoping that my boss and the company don't fire because of it.

I sigh and sit back down. Can this day get any worse? Wait. I'm not going to ask that question, because it might, and I don't want to jinx myself.

Frustrated, I run my hand through my hair, and I try to get back to learning what I need to do for my job.

Finally, it is time to head home. The rest of the afternoon is quiet, and no one dares to ask me anything about the engagement. I think I got my point across to everyone, but I still wish that there was a better way of doing it than that terrible outburst.

I gather my things, but before I can leave, my boss walks up to me. "The big boss wants to see you before you leave."

Oh, I hope this doesn't have anything to do with how I acted earlier. I tentatively nod my head. I quickly look towards the owner's office as my hands begin to sweat. I hope that he isn't going to fire me. I didn't even get a chance to show them what I can do.

I take a deep breath and I stand up. Tentatively, I take a few steps towards his office, as I wipe my sweaty palms on my pants.

My mind is racing. What can he want with me? Please, oh, please, don't be mad. I can't lose my job on the first day. This will be so embarrassing and how do I explain it to Pete. I was so proud of being able to help with the bills. I know that he won't mind, but I desperately want to help with the finances and that means that I have to keep my job.

I stop a few feet from the door. The door is wide open, and I can see the owner typing something on his computer. I take a deep breath.

I muster up all my courage and I take that final step so I'm now standing in the doorway to his office. I mentally chant to myself, "You can do this."
