Hudson studied her face , the sunlight hitting her perfectly. Doing her makeup for once but only because she was "going out."
DEVASTATED by Joey Badass played , Hudson began reciting all the lyrics as if she was putting on a concert in her hotel room.
"You ready?"
"Yeah just about" Hudson responded adding lip gloss to her pink plump lips.

"I was just wondering where we were going ." Hudson said as she checked her phone.
"It's really not that complicated, you could've just told me." She added with a laugh.
"Why does it matter, was the food not good or something?" Joseph replied his voice showing annoyance.
Hudson looked up noticing the change of tone in her boyfriends voice. More importantly she was wondering who he was talking to.
"I-"
"Maybe if you would just stop being difficult for once, I would've picked a better restaurant. He added before Hudson could respond.
"Are you talking to me?" She said looking him directly at him.
"Who else would I be talking to?"
"Bet."

The Uber pulled up to the hotel. The time was 8pm and Hudson was not tolerating whatever was wrong with Joseph.
"Your overreacting H." Joseph said.
"I'm dead not, your mad disrespectful for no reason and I'm tired of it." She replied a hint of her Ny accent coming out.
The door was slammed. At times like this Hudson would call one of her girlfriends and just vent. This time it was different. It felt like the last straw and to be quite honest Hudson was done.
WHO HURT YOU ? by Daniel Caesar played in the bathroom as Hudson took a hot shower trying to collect her thoughts.
The water leaving droplets over her body. Smelling like shea butter and vanilla. Her short brown hair now curly.
"Are you gonna open the door so I can sleep?" Hudson heard as she came out the bathroom.
"The couch is calling your name." She replied with a straight face even though he was in outside the room.
"Childish thats what you are." Joseph replied.
"Fuck you."
Music turned off, bedroom to herself, she still didn't have her thoughts collected. Phone buzzing a couple of times but she didn't pay it any mind.
But eventually it consumed her. She was on Instagram.

It was a picture of her and Joseph on a jet ski two days ago when things seemed ok for a minute.
Hudson looked at the notification for a while then turned off her phone.
She decided on what to do eventually and she was content with the idea, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
