(Y/N) POV
It's been currently two weeks since grandfather was kidnaped and I met the Justice League.
They moved me to live in a mountain with there sidekicks.
Wulf tried to play with (D/N) but they focused on their job, this made Wulf rather disappointed.
Everyone is nice to me, but seem sad when they mention someone named Kaldur. I wonder what happened to him?
I really wish grandfather would come back. I really miss him.The team celebrated my birthday and we went to go to the zoo and eat ice cream. I'm now seven.
I felt a tingling.
No ones POV
"(Y/N), can we please talk?" Black Canary asked you.
"Okay" you said as you and (D/N) walked towards her.
"What's the matter?" You asked.
"Something has come up about your grandfather" she tells you.
You gained a look of curiosity.
"What happened?" You asked innocently.
"(Y/N), your grandfather is," she look at you with a pained expression, it killed her to have to tell you this "dead".
Your entire world started to crumble.
"What?"
"I'm sorry, but when we were finally able to find him, he was dying. He asked us to give you this" she tells you and hands you something rectangular.
After feeling around you recognized it as you grandfathers old voice recorder.
"Why?" You whispered.
Black canary looked at you.
"Why does the world hate me?!" You cried out.
You grabbed (D/N) as they lead you to your room. There you broke down crying.
When you finally finished crying you finally decided to listen to the recording.
"Hey kiddo, I wish I could be here with you, but I'm not. I'm so sorry (Y/N).
I wish I could say everything would be alright but I would be lying to you and myself. But just because I'm gone doesn't mean you should be sad. I want you to live life to the fullest.
I want you two go out into the world and go to college, make friends, find love, have a family, enjoy life.
Please, for me, and remember your most powerful weapon is your voice" at this point you were quietly crying "I love you (Y/N), never forget that".
And then the recording ended.
You then heard someone knocking on the door and it opened.
"Kid, you okay?" You recognized the voice of Connor.
"No" you said clutching the tape.
(D/N) whimpered worryingly.
Connor came towards you and sat besides you.
You started crying again.
He pulled you into a hug, which he doesn't normally do.
"Why does the world hate me?" You asked.
"I'm sorry (Y/N), but-"
Suddenly there was a lot of noise out side.
"(Y/N) stay here" Connor tells you as he walked away to see what was causing a commotion.
You stood in your room with (D/N) when suddenly everything went quiet.
"Come on (D/N), let's see what's the matter" you said as you grabbed (D/N) harness.
You both walked out into the hall and walked towards the Zata tube.
You heard someone walking around.
"Hello?"
The person then stopped moving.
"Hi, I'm (Y/N) and this is (D/N)" you tell the person.
"Tigress, I need your assistance" the person said.
Then it went quite.
"What's your name?" You asks.
You sensed hesitation.
"I am Kaldur" he tells you.
"Are you Connors friend?" You asked him stepping closer.
"Once" he tells you.
Someone then entered the room.
"Oh (naughty word), I didn't know there was a kid here?" Tigress said.
" Where are my friends?" You asked them innocently.
"We can bring you to them" Kaldur tells you.
You hesitated at first but you then agreed.
Tigress grabbed your hand and lead you and (D/N) out the mountain.
You were then lead to a plane.
Suddenly there was a loud explosion and at that moment you knew you screwed up.

"Why is there a child here?!" Black Manta asked.
"They were at the mountain when we're arrived and I think they will be of valuable to us to defeat the Justice League" Kaldur tells him.
While they talk you just stood there with (D/N). You then heard someone walk in front of you.
"Why do you have this mutt with you child?" Black Manta asked.
"T-They help me" you said timidly.
"With what?"
"To 'see', I-I'm blind sir" you tell him as you took off the glasses you wore.
Your eyes were covered by a white coating.
"I see," he said "take them to a cell".
Soon you were locked up in a cell with (D/N). You were terrified.
You started singing a song that you heard from the radio.
