"Jo, love, we're landing." Liam nudges my shoulder. My eyes hurt at the sudden light. I might've had a bit too much wine at the wedding. It's also very late, so that doesn't help.

"What clock is it?" I mumble.

Liam chuckles a little, "The clock is 2:23 AM." I'm not aware of him making fun of me.

"Too early." I snuggle back into the folds of my sweatshirt. With a sudden jolt, the plane lands.

"Come on babe, we gotta go home now." Liam pulls one of my arms away and holds my hand in his. I use my other hand to rub my eyes, not even thinking about my makeup smearing.

Pushing the hood of my sweatshirt back, I screw my eyes shut because of the bright lights.

"Too bright." I complain. I shield my eyes from the overpowering lights.

"All the lights aren't even on yet. Did you drink too much wine at the reception?" Liam asks, a smirk growing on his face. He rummages around in his backpack for a fee seconds before pulling out a pair of Raybans. I take them gratefully and put them on.

Finally, I can open my eyes all the way without being blinded. I still have a headache but I try my best not to show it. I can't believe I drank too much at my friends'wedding. It that really something 2014 me would do? I'm sick of me finding out about me.

"Pshh, no."

"Whatever you say.."

I gently swat his shoulder, gaining a few curious glances from other passangers. I can feel the impact of the tires and the concrete. I'm glad to be back on the ground. Flying was never my thing.

Liam gets his carry-on and insists on carrying my backpack. Okay. Maybe I'm a little tipsy, but I'm not incapable of carrying one backpack.

He lets me out into the aisle in front of him and I slowly inch my way forward. Soon, we are all off the plane and I walk through the airport with Liam at my side. We pick up our other bags from the baggage claim and try to find my car I borrowed from Sonia. She was getting tired of hauling me around with her and having to take me places. I didn't question it.

"Pop the trunk." Liam says, waiting at the back of the car to put his suitcase in. I just open the back door and sling my bag into the backseat. I stumble a little and end up leaning against the car next to us.

"Or not." Liam comes and takes the keys from me while I hold the palm of my hand up to my forehead. A constant throbbing sensation makes my head spin.

"Are you sure you're all right, love?" Liam opens the door for me after putting his suitcase in back.

"Of course."

"Right."

I actually fell asleep in the car. But in my defense, it was three in the morning. I'm entitled to sleep. Liam drove us both back to my lovely little trailer in Michigan.

"Come on now Jo." Liam basically lifts me out of my seat and I sluggishly move across the porch to the front door. I drop my keys multiple times, earning a sigh from Liam. Tiger purrs at my feet once Liam gets the door open. I'm immediately cold. I mope over to the thermostat and crank up the heat. Winter is on the horizon.

"Jo take your coat off." Liam appears beside me and takes my peacoat off to hang it on its hook.

"There's a reason I kept you arond."

"And why's that?" Liam says, slightly amused in my weaker state.

"Hm. I forgot."

"Goodnight Jo." Liam managed to get me into my bedroom without me taking notice. I lift my sweater up and off over my head, leaving me in a simple, black sports bra. I leave my leggings on because why not? I don't even realize my lights still on until Liam reappears seconds later, opening the door just enough where he can slip is hand in and push my switch down.

"Sweet dreams." He whispers, but I'm already out like a light.
