Kurogiri set Midoriya down in the chair, latching his wrists and ankles to the arms and legs of the chair. Shigaraki examined the vials on the any shelves lined along the walls of the room, picking a yellow, toxic-looking one from the far left of the room.
"Before your friend All Might destroyed him, All for One extracted some quirks for our use when he wasn't able to give us what we needed. Initially, we were going to use them for Nomus, but Kurogiri here had the brilliant idea of using them to convert heroes to villains." Kurogiri became happy under the praise of his boss, but it was hard to tell, due to the lack of any apparent facial features. Shigaraki continued speaking, holding the vial in front of Midoriya. "This quirk is called 'Extent'. It creates a second mind in you, to put it simply. It takes what you're most passionate about, and makes a new you that has twice as much passion about doing the opposite. To whatever 'extent'."
Midoriya's eyes widened once he realized what was going to happen. "P-Please don't do what I think you're going to."
"Ha! You thought I was going to inject this into you, right?" Shigaraki's forced smile covered his face. "I was going to, but I'm afraid of you. It makes me sound weak, but it's true. If I give you this, then not only will you become a villain, but you'll be much too devoted."
"I'll never be a villain!" Midoriya yelled. "Even if I became one, I wouldn't do the things you do!"
Shigaraki's smile grew wider. Reverse psychology really did work. "Perfect. The passion I needed." Without a warning, he opened the vial and injected it into Midoriya, causing him to shriek. "You'll be the greatest villain the world has ever known."
Midoriya struggled, but soon became tired. His head spun and felt his consciousness slowly slipping away. Once he had fainted, Shigaraki motioned to Kurogiri to release him and carry him back to the bar. The two returned, earning glances from the few other villains already there.
"So Shi'-sama, when's he gonna wake up?" Toga asked, bouncing over to her leader.
"In a few minutes. It'll only take a bit for the quirk to take effect on his body. If he wakes up and his eyes are their original color, we'll kill him before he kills himself. If they're yellow, we let him be."
The villains smirked, leaning over the body as they toasted the possibility of a new member of the League. Dabi sipped at a beer when he noticed Midoriya starting to stir. He stood up from his seat, careful to not say a word, but pulling in the attention of the others.
As Midoriya woke up, his head hurt, but in a soothing, relaxing way. He didn't feel like himself. He felt hungry. Midoriya looked around to see the faces of the beyond excited villains. "His eyes, Shigaraki, his eyes! It worked!" they cheered. Midoriya was confused.
"Where am I?"
"You're in your rightful place, Midoriya." Toga grinned, latching onto his arm. "With us."
Midoriya got up from the counter and picked up one of the drinks, using it as a mirror. His eyes were yellow instead of green, but he didn't care. He felt wonderful, so what was the harm? Taking a gulp from the glass, he raised his hand.
"I don't know what the hell is happening, but it feels right. So, I must say, let's fuck up all the shit."
"Let's fuck up all the shit!"
The small party of villains drank throughout the rest of the day and into the night. He could recall a few things, like underage drinking and breaking several laws. He didn't care for that. What he did care for was where he woke up.
He distinctly remembered crawling into a bed, Toga curling up beside him, and the two drunk children snuggling until they fell asleep. However, next thing he knew, he woke up 1) in his dorm, no longer being cuddled by Toga, and 2) with a massive hangover.
He stumbled out of his bed and over to his dresser where he looked in a small mirror. He noticed his eyes were green again, but he still didn't care. There was a voice in his mind speaking to him. It was quiet, just barely audible, but Midoriya could still hear it.
"I am you, Midoriya Izuku. You are a hero, but I can change that," it whispered in his ear. Midoriya became panicked, looking around his room for any sign of another person. Nobody was there.
"Get out of my head!" he yelled. The could practically hear the smirk from whatever was speaking to him, but it stopped. A few seconds later, heavy footsteps were heard outside his room, followed by banging on his door.
"Midoriya, is that you?" Iida.
"Deku-kun, open the door!" Uraraka.
Midoriya refused to move from the middle of his room, so he only spoke. "The door's unlocked. Come in."
The door slammed open, revealing a large hoard of the 1-A students. They all shouted questions at him, but Midoriya couldn't hear a thing. He fell to his knees, shaking, causing them all to shut up. Uraraka dropped down to his side.
"Deku-kun, you need to tell us what happened."
He shook as he looked her in the eyes. "I don't know what happened. All I remember was waking up in a bar with a bunch of villains surrounding me. They nullified my quirk, then took me into a room filled with, what they told me, extracted quirks. I can't recall anything after that except for the fact I went to bed there, and woke up here."
The class remained in silence, but soon, two teachers walked in. Aizawa-sensei and Hizashi-sensei, Present Mic, parted the crowd and placed their hands on Midoriya's shoulders. "We'll take it from here, class. Please get ready for school, classes have not been altered." Aizawa commanded in his tired, monotone voice. The class quickly left upon request, some more hesitant than others, but soon all that remained was the two teachers and Midoriya.
Mic spoke to Midoriya first. "Midoriya, we understand if you don't want to go to your classes today. We've been talking as teachers, and decided it would be best if you-"
"I'm going to class." The two pros looked at him in shock. "I'm going to class because if I don't, I'll find a way to weaken myself. I'm going to class because I need to prove that I'm strong, and won't be held down by a minor inconvenience."
Midoriya stood with the teachers, who smiled at Midoriya's enthusiasm. Aizawa, for once, gave him a light smile before he left. "That's what we look for in a hero." Midoriya returned the smile and began to ready himself for the day.
Before he left his dorm he got a text from All Might. "Be strong, Young Midoriya."
Little did he know, what had happened was far beyond a minor inconvenience. It was going to alter, quite possibly, the rest of his life.
