One night, a girl steps outside,

looking at the moon that gleams in the night sky

"Every night, the sun falls just to let me rise,"

said the moon in a melancholic voice

"But it gets quiet when I'm around,"it adds

"Who is the sun for you?" the little girl asks.

"The sun is my everything,"

the moon replied.

"

I need his light so that I can shine.
Without him, I am nothing.
Yet, he never asks for anything in return
Because he's much brighter than I am,"

"Doesn't that bother you?" the little girl asks.

"No, it does not. I do not mind him having more light than I do.
B

ecause once when I'm around,

I hear distant cries and prayers of the suffering

Only when I'm around, they shed tears

It is quite depressing to hear,"

the moon answered lowly.

"But without you,

I think that they would never find the right time to cry again,"

the little girl replied.

The moon doesn't answer,

it only stared silent at the little girl

Tears then start to fall from the little girl's eyes

she starts to sob as her back aches from the throbbing pain,

and her hands swollen from the weight
