(You became the voice that surged through my mouth)
When I was mute, you spoke for me
My tongue was a trembling hand,

Wanting to taste and hold you at the same time
Even though I was a difficult language,

You knew every word that I spoke-
Every word, you pronounced flawlessly

(You became the foundation that held me up)
When I had no more walls to put up,
No more big castles to live in,
And no more gates to open
You had all the materials that I needed,
And those were your words,
Your voice, and your laughs during rainy days

(You became this glowing, warm feeling in my body)
When I was so cold during winter nights,
Even when you weren't there-
in bed with someone else,
I was still warm underneath falling snowflakes, just from the thought of you
because I knew that it was good enough

--What I have now is good enough,

My thoughts and dreams of you

are good enough

Am I happy?

I think

I am.
