What I expect of you is nothing out of the ordinary

But please do comply with my own wants and needs,

because you told me that I'm the one you want to marry

What I expect from you is to be the man I've always knew,

Not a ghost who'll disappear when I'm on the ground

And when I'm up again, appear out of the blue

So please don't ever say I'm a big-headed woman

because then our love would be futile,
or maybe brutal

But I just don't want to be something that you utile

Then throw me in the slums
like I am nothing

What I expect of you is nothing
but honesty

So honey,

tell me, do you really love me?
