Jeno groaned as he rolled over in his bed to grab his phone. He rubbed his eyes and hissed at how bright it was despite it being on the lowest brightness. It was who knows what time it is and he forgot to turn his phone on silent.

"The hell Jaemin?" Jeno said, looking at Jaemin's bed. The said boy emerged from his blanket cocoon and looked over at Jeno.
"What? You got a problem if I hype my best friend?" Jaemin asked.
"I thought Jeno was your best friend." Chenle murmured, awoken from his slumber.
"The adults are talking go back to sleep child." Renjun hushed in Chinese.
"I thought you dmed her already." Jaemin said. "Don't tell me you chickened out again."
"It's not that I chickened out I just really don't know what to say." Jeno sighed.
"Just say she caught your eye. There's nothing wrong praising her talent." Jaemin suggested. "You know what, let me work my powers."
"What the hell are you gonna do about it anyway?" Jeno asked. He sunk back into his comforter and was ready to fall asleep.
Ding.
Am I going to risk my whole career and clear skin for a live or wait for the replay, Jeno thought.
He got out of the comfort of his blankets and grabbed his earphones. He plugged it in and opened his phone to her live.
"Hello! It's been so long. Wow the numbers are really going up. Let me just read the chat."
It was Jeno's first time to hear her voice and see her bare face. She tried her best to speak in Korean but an accent was obviously present. Her features were just the same but the stress from her exams were showing on the bags beneath her eyes.
"What's my skincare routine? Snapchat."
She chuckled and brought the camera closer to her face.
"If you can see I have Steve and Jeff on my face."
She continued to read through the comments, eyes squinting to see the tiny text.
