Namu's eyes fluttered open. She hissed at the throbbing pain that hit her. She couldn't recall what happened before she blacked out. She just guessed she was in the hospital from the pure white walls.
"You're finally awake." Mark said, closing his book. He adjusted his glasses as he brought the chair nearer to her.
"What happened? Why am I here?" Namu asked. She sat up and awkwardly played with her bandaged hand.
It's been a while since they talked.
"Jeno and Johnny found you and Renjun injured. We were hoping to get answers from you guys. Guess both you and Renjun don't remember." Mark answered, a hint of relief in his voice.. "Jaemin is in the other room with Renjun."
Namu's ears perked up when she heard Jeno's name. "Where's Jeno? Why isn't he here?"
"Why him?" Mark mumbled. He bit his lip as he looked down to his balled fists. "I was the one who was by your side when you woke up. I was the one who came first. I was the one you always looked for."
"We talked about this, Minhyung." Namu reminded. "I've told you numerous of times—"
"I can't accept it, Julie. I don't want to lose you! I just need a second chance. Just one last chance." Mark begged. He knew he looked pathetic but he was desperate. She was like his lifeline. She was always there for him. She knew him the most.
"That's the point. In the past I've given you so many chances and you've given me false hope." Namu said. It honestly hurt her every time they had a conversation like this. She had thought about trying to cut their friendship off but she was afraid for him.
"You hate liars like me the most, right?" Mark let out a dry chuckle. Namu frowned at his
"Don't talk about yourself like—"
"I have some great news for you then. Did you know Jeno has been lying to you all this time?"

"Have you found anything?" Johnny asked. He was in the security room with Jeno. They had requested for the guard in charge of the security cameras to check the footage.
"The security camera from the hallway wasn't working. I'm sorry." The guard answered. He handed them a flash drive with a sigh. "I added a copy of the last 24 hours if it helps."
"Thank you." Johnny received the flash drive with both hands and bowed. The two walked out and it was their turn to sigh. "We asked around everywhere and still there's no lead."
"We really need them to wake up." Jeno said, looking at his watch. "It's been a day."
Johnny felt torn. 127 was leaving tomorrow for the tour and he couldn't bring himself to leave if someone meant harm to his sister.
"Hey!" Donghyuck shouted. He jogged up to them as he seemed breathless. "Jaemin gave me a call. Namu and Renjun are awake."
Everything that happened next was a blur as the three of them rushed to Johnny's car and to the hospital.
Johnny pulled up by the main entrance. "Head there first while I park the car."
Jeno and Donghyuck exited the car and made their way towards their friends' room. Donghyuck had gone to check on Renjun while Jeno entered Namu's room.
Namu sat on the bed, staring off into space. He didn't hesitate to run up to her and pull her into a hug. He let out a sigh of relief as he felt her small frame against his.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Jeno mumbled. He pulled back and looked around. "I thought Mark was here—"
"Is it true?" Namu cut off.
"What do you mean?" He asked, confused.
She grabbed a fistful of the hospital blanket as she looked him in the eye. "Is it true that you really are j.nojams?"
Jeno's mouth suddenly went dry as his heart nearly stopped. He opened his mouth hesitantly, trying to find words to say. He thought he would never get caught.
"Who told you?"
Namu let out a huff as she was finally sure. She didn't want to believe Mark but now that it came from Jeno, it hurt.
"All this time? All this fucking time you lied to me, Jeno? You of all people? I trusted you so much!" Namu shouted. Tears of frustration pricked her eyes as she tightened her grip on the blanket.
A lot of things were honestly starting to make sense. How Jeno would always know things about her despite her not telling him.
"I swear I didn't want to keep lying to you. I even stopped using it." Jeno explained. He mentally cursed himself for not explaining it to her better. "I swear I don't mean to hurt you or anything."
Namu's eyes widened as she remembered something about their chat.
I like someone else.
She remembered clearly confessing her love for him in their past conversation and gushing over him. She remembered sending her the list that she never showed to anyone except him.
Humiliation burned in her as something in her finally snapped.
"Why does every person I fall in love with always have to lie to me like this?" Namu cried. "Was it fun? Was it fun to lie to my face and do all those things? I'm not mad because you're j.nojams. I'm mad at the fact you chose not to tell me and let me make a fool out of myself."
"Please listen—"
"GET OUT!" Namu screamed. She threw her pillow at him. "GET THE FUCK OUT!"
"Julie? What the hell is going on here?" Johnny questioned, walking in. He immediately ran up to his sister and pulled her into his chest.
"GET OUT!" Namu sobbed.
"Jeno. Please. She's not in the right state to think straight." Johnny said.
Jeno stood there with his head hung low. His tongue poked his inner cheek as a storm of emotions make his chest tighten. He turned around with one last glance and walked out the door.
He needed to calm down too. He could just talk to her tomorrow when she finally calmed down.
But that tomorrow never came.
