Namu laid comfortably on the bed, her eyes boring holes into into Jeno's white ceiling. She was tucked in and comfortable with drowsiness being the only thing that was missing.

Jeno, with the help of Namu, set up the air mattress they had. It was actually comfortable as it was Chenle's bed for when he slept here.

Namu shifted to her side, looking over at Jeno who was laid peacefully on the floor. "Jeno? Are you still awake?"

"Barely." He groaned, opening his heavy eyes. "Something up?"

"I can sleep on the floor." Namu offered for what seemed like the nth time that night.

"And so can I." He assured with a chuckle. "What brings you here anyway?"

"I heard scratching sounds and thumps in my apartment and got scared. First instinct since Johnny didn't pick up was to come here." Namu explained. "That and there was a cockroach in the bedroom."

She hid her face in the blanket, the natural scent of Jeno comforting her.

A scent she had missed dearly.

"You've barely been getting sleep that day, huh?"

"I guess." She muttered. She only slept short hours and would overthink any little sound she heard.

"Rest up. I'll have Donghyuck talk to Johnny about it." Jeno raised his pinky and bent it. "Promise."

Namu hummed, closing her eyes. She tried to relax but something in her made her feel restless. This was a chance to clear it up, but would it be fair if he was drunk?

Would it even count as making up?

"Stop overthinking." Jeno slurred, trying his best to keep awake.

Namu sat up, shocked at his words."How did you know?"

"You just confirmed it." He answered. "Share your thoughts or forever hold you peace."

"I'm afraid that once I fall asleep, everything will go back to the new normal we have. That once the alcohol wears off you'll be cold again and I have to be left wondering how to approach you. I really want to make things right with you. It doesn't help that my feelings for you haven't changed at all and you like—"

Namu put a hand over her mouth, cursing at her rambling self for saying too much. Her head slowly turns in Jeno's direction to see him deep in thought.

He vaguely remembered the talk with Mark and decided to own up to his mistakes too.

"I apologize for lying to you. You had every right to be angry for not coming clean about who I was." Jeno started carefully. He paused, trying to gather himself. "I had so many chances to tell you but I was afraid you wouldn't take it well. I'm sorry."

"I forgive you. I've been wanting to say it for a while. It makes me somewhat wish I wasn't impulsive enough to leave that day." Namu admitted, fingers playing with the chain of her necklace. "And I want to clarify I'm not with Mark."

"I know. He told me."  He laughed.

"Friends again?" Namu asked, raising her pinky.

"Of course." Jeno smiled, mimicking her action. The girl felt happy, laying down on more comfortably on the bed.

"I still have feelings for you and I know you have feelings for someone else." Namu mumbled. "And I'll work on getting rid of them and support you.

"You know her really well. The person that I love so dearly." Jeno stated, voice getting softer with each word. "You wanna know who it is?"

"I literally confess to you and you just do this?" Namu huffed hiding in the blanket. "Who is it? Maybe I can get you a date with her."

"It's...."

There was a long pause before soft snores filled the room. Jeno had fallen deep asleep much to the girl's dismay. She cupped his cheek, her thumb rubbing against his cheek.

"Idiot."

"I told you it would work!"

"Shut up someone might hear your loud mouth."

"I'm the real MVP here."

Jeno let out a moan of despair as the hammering feeling in his head woke him up fully. He sat up, disoriented and confused.

The first thing he did was look at his bed which was already made. She must have left to get ready for school.

After much debate of never getting up and needing to get his fill of breakfast, he got up. He made his way out the room and towards the kitchen.

"What the hell is this zombie doing here?" Donghyuck teased. He sat on the couch with the rest of Dream besides Jisung.

"Fuck off you don't even live here." Jeno scoffed, not in the mood for his friend's teasing.

"Namu made breakfast for everyone before she left with Jisung. Yours is in the pot over there." Jaemin pointed to the pot that had a note on it.

This is for Jeno. If anyone else touches it you'll regret it.

To Jeno, thank you and I hope you enjoy. See you later at practice :)

Don't forget to drink the medicine for headaches.

-Namu

He opened the pot and was thrilled to see spicy beef stew inside. He served himself a portion and noticed Renjun approaching.

"Can I have so—"

"No." Jeno firmly rejected, cutting the Chinese boy off. He took a bite, humming at the satisfying taste.

"Please." Renjun begged, curious of how it tasted. Jeno stared at him for a bit before giving him a serving. "This is too much—"

"Consider it a late thank you for saving Namu a while back." Jeno cut off. He continued to eat his meal, feeling the headache slowly disappear.

"I'm guessing you and Namu hit it off last night?" Renjun asked, digging into his meal.

"Don't get any funny ideas, Huang. Nothing happened between us even if I was tipsy." Jeno warned.

"At least you two are on the best terms now. Maybe it'll get better from here." Renjun grinned, wiggling his eyebrows at Jeno. The slightly younger boy rolled his eyes and flicked him off.

"I do have one question though."

"What? I hate conversations that start like that." Renjun responded. "It's not good for my heart."

"Why did you save Namu? You could have avoided it easily." Jeno asked.

"Well, she's my friend and yours." Renjun answered. "Plus, I know you would do the same if Jinae was in trouble."
