Play the song when you see the dot (•)
"I never knew there was an amusement park here." Namu gawked, looking around the place. There weren't much people around to her surprise.
"It's kind of new and not much people know about it so I thought it would be the perfect place." Jeno explained.
He had gotten advice from Dream and where to go for dates. Surprisingly, Renjun knew a lot more than the others.
"How about we grab a bite since it's still hot outside? There's a good diner on the other side of the park." Jeno suggested. His plan was going accordingly.
"Then let's get going." Namu grinned. "But I'll pay."
Jeno nodded. He didn't want her to feel like a burden so he decided to let her pay for food. "You're the boss."
Their hands brush against each other, making the boy apologize. Namu just smiled and took his hand in hers. She pulled him along, forcing him to run with her.
"We don't have all day!"

"What do you want to ride next?" Jeno asked.
The afternoon sun had begun to set yet the two were still at the amusement park. They had ridden most of the thrill rides that were here and was surprised at how energetic the girl still was.
"Namu?"
The girl seemed to be staring at something. He followed her gaze. She stared at a big blue stuffed elephant that was hanging at a booth.
He leaned in closer to her. "Do you want that?"
"No." Namu mumbled. She turned around towards the direction of the teacups. "I know the games are rigged anyway."
Jeno took her hand and lead her towards the booth. It was a punching game. The man at the booth greeted them with the fakest smile they had ever seen.
"Welcome! For 5,000 won you have 3 tries. If your score adds up to 2,500 then you get to choose whatever you want. If it's less then you pick from the small stuffed toys."
"What if you injure yourself?" Namu whispered.
"Then I go to the hospital." Jeno handed her his phone and wallet after he paid for a turn.
He stretched his arm and jumped a bit. He took a couple of steps back before reeling back and running towards the machine. He hit the target, knocking it back.
810
He shook his hand, trying to push the stinging feeling away. The man set the machine one more time and Jeno repeated his actions.
790
Jeno frowned at the second score. He shook his hand again, trying to shake of the stinging feeling. A tug on his hoodie made him pause for a second.
"Imagine it's Hyuck when he told your mom about you playing video games all night." Namu suggested. He glanced at her hand an saw the concealer that covered her bruises was smudging off. He removed his hoodie and handed it to her.
"Put it on." He mumbled. He cracked his knuckles before holding onto his wrist. He reeled back as he ran forward, pushing all that he had into the punch. The impact noise was loud enough to make Namu jump.
903
Namu's brain loaded for a second, trying to calculate his score. She gasped and cheered when she realized he reached the score.
"Congratulations! Your total score is 2,503. Which prize would you like to get?" The man asked, readying the ladder.
Jeno pointed to the big blue elephant "That one please."
The man nodded and got the toy. He handed it to Namu. It was almost as big as her, making Jeno chuckle. It made him feel soft to the point he wanted to keep her in his pocket.
"It must be nice to have such a loving boyfriend like him." The man complimented.
Namu's eyes widened and she shook her head. "Ah we're—"
"Thank you. Enjoy your evening, sir." Jeno interrupted. The two began walking around, Namu still cuddling with her new toy.
"I think this is one of the best days I'll ever experience. I can't even begin with how happy I am." Namu thanked. She stopped in front of him and grinned. "How about we ride something you want?"
Jeno thought for a bit, trying to think of what would be better to ride.
"How about the teacups?" He pointed to the ride in mind which was nearby.
"Sounds good! But don't spin it too fast I might puke." Namu warned. She didn't expect him to choose the teacups but was happy anyway.
They bought two tickets and entered the ride. It seemed like it was only the two of them who were going to ride.
"Ladies first." Jeno helped her in before entering himself. The ride begun and Namu began spinning it. "I thought you were going to puke."
"You first." Namu joked, slowing down the teacup.

She was off in her own world enjoying the ride but Jeno couldn't help but stare at her. At this point the sun had set and the amusement park was dark. Music began to play from the speakers making Namu smile.
"Do you know this song? My brother and I used to sing it all the time." She asked. Jeno shook his head, curious about the soft melody.
Jeno was taken aback the moment Namu sang along with the song. She closed her eyes and swayed to the lulling melody. Her voice was very pleasing to the ears. It felt so enchanting as each word left her mouth.
One by one lights around the the amusement park flickered on. The last to be lit was the lights on the teacup ride. The yellow glow against her porcelain skin made her look more angelic than she already was. Her lips curved up into a small smile as she hummed along to the music.
His heart was thumping against his chest ready to burst out of its confinement. His stomach was all fuzzy as a warm feeling spread throughout his body. His thoughts go back to what his older friend had said.
Doyoung was wrong about one thing.
He didn't like her.
He loved her.
And he was sure of it.
March 25, 2018 at exactly 7:34 PM, I fell in love with Namu.
After the ride the two decided to buy some snacks before walking to the bus stop. The two were waiting for their order when Jeno decided to speak up.
"I heard it was your birthday tomorrow."
"Yeah. I'm celebrating with my brother since it's been years." Namu said. She jokingly rolled her eyes at the mention of her brother.
Jeno rummaged through his bag and pulled out a neatly wrapped box. He placed it in her hands. "I'm not sure if it's your style."
Namu placed the stuffed toy on a chair and carefully unwrapped the gift. She opened the box and was beyond speechless.
It was a simple gold necklace. On the thin chain was a small pendant see through with a pressed flower inside. It was baby's breath, one of her favorite flowers.
Namu bit her lip and looked up at Jeno with glossy eyes. She had always wanted something like this. "Is it really okay for me to have this?"
"I only want you to have it." Jeno smiled and took the necklace from the box. "Allow me."
Namu pulled her hair up and let Jeno put the necklace on her. His warm cold hands brushed against the nape of her neck, making her shiver.
"Happy birthday, Namu."
