"Will you really be fine walking home by yourself?" Her classmate asked worriedly. He had offered to walk her home but she politely declined.

"Yeah I'll be fine. You take care." Namu bowed before taking her leave.

Today was a day off and Namu saw it as a chance to finish up a major project in her class. Sadly, she was paired with some random guy instead of Jisung. She had already planned crashing at the Dream Dorm and have Jisung do it all.

The vibration from her phone made her stop and pull it out from her school bag.

oldho

Hey
I'll be sleeping at your apartment today.
Donghyuck kept me up last night with his stupid games
I need real sleep

Really?
I just finished a group project and haven't cooked anything

Oh um
I'm in a meeting right now
I'll be home a little late
I'll forward you a list of ingredients.
Let's cook together

Aight

Namu took a screenshot of the list and headed to the grocery a couple of blocks from her new apartment. Her eyes land on the empty lot where she had done busking her second day in Korea.

So it was Jeno who danced with me that day, huh?

She took a basket and walked around, looking for the ingredients on the list. She guessed they would be making kimchi stew from the ingredients he sent her.

"Why does Youngho have to be extra when we can just cook instant ramen together." Namu grumbled, reaching for the soft tofu.

A figure at the corner of her eye made her heart drop. Her head whipped in its direction, scanning the empty space.

It had been happening a lot, especially when she was out alone. There have been some weird things ever since the increase in her followers.

There had always been this one user that leaves rather alarming comments. She had also been receiving more calls from random people and she found it unsettling. The worst one has been the reoccurring caller who seemed to get her number no matter how many times she had changed it.

"If it gets too much you can go to the police and present the calls and comments as harassment. If you need help you have me and 20 other people to back you up."

"Maybe I should call Chenle for help. Johnny will help me pay for a lawyer." Namu mumbled, making a mental note to call her Chinese friend.

She paid for the groceries and began her slow walk home. She hummed as she admired the pretty evening sky, mind wandering over to a certain blond.

The boy gave her mixed emotions if she were to be honest. Lately, he had been acting cold then would suddenly warm up to her. The change in their relationship bugged her, but she knew it was partially her fault. She had finally come into terms with it and wanted to support him.

Was it too late to fix things between them?

Snap.

Her heart dropped into her stomach at the sound. She looked around and felt the panic rise when she saw she was the only one on the street. Her eyes land on the growing shadows that seemed to move on their own.

She continued walking as she fumbled with her phone to call her brother. "Come on Youngho pick up."

His phone was out of reach no matter how many calls she made. She picked up her pace, soon hearing an extra pair of footsteps after hers. At this point she broke into a full sprint.

Tears blurred her vision as she frantically dialed a number. She wasn't sure whether he would pick up or not but it was a gamble.

"He—"

"There's someone following me. Please help." She stammered. "I'm near the convenience store we always went to when you'd walk me ho—"

Namu let out a yelp of pain as she tripped on her shoelace, sending her phone skidding away from her. She looked behind her and saw a hooded figure approaching her.

"STAY AWAY!" She screamed, scuffling away from the guy. She forced herself up and tried to run but a strong hand grasped onto her forearm.

"Don't worry, I just want to be your friend." He cooed, reaching into his pocket.

Namu desperately grabbed the first thing she could from her bag with her freehand. She threw the contents of the bottle, sending glitter into his eyes.

The guy kept grip on her, tightening it as the pain coursed through him. He slapped her square in the face in a blind rage.

"This is for your own good!" He reasoned.

Namu couldn't care less and bit down on his arm as hard as she could. He hit her again, this time a blow to her stomach. He pushed her to the ground and used his weight to hold her down. His bloodshot eyes stared into hers mockingly.

"Why are you doing this?" She sobbed.

"Because of you." He answered sweetly.

Namu closed her eyes, excepting her fate. She waited for pain to come but was bewildered when nothing came. She cracked an eye open and realized he was no longer on top of her.

She slowly sat up, eyes catching two figures fighting.   Her eyes widen at the sight of her savior.

His blonde hair stuck to his glistening skin as he threw punch after punch against her attacker. His eyes burned with rage as the veins from both his arms and neck bulged.

He stopped when the man went limp, letting out quick shallow breaths. His head turned to lock eyes with her as familiar blue and red lights illuminated the street.

Without a second thought, he ran up to her and pulled her into a hug.
