"Can you two explain yourselves? What are you doing in my little sister's house at such a late hour?" Johnny demanded. "I may seem overprotective, but I practically raised her. I would be concerned for her."

"The thing is..."

"I'm dating Namu, and if I don't have your trust, I'll work hard to gain it." Jeno asserted. He sat as straight as he could, his hands curled up tightly into a fist in hopes to stop them from trembling.

"Hey, don't be nervous. I'm here too." Namu comforted in a murmur, placing her warm hand over his cold one. A firm nod from her was enough for the boy to finally breathe. "We didn't want to keep it from you but wanted to wait for the right time.

"And if the press find out?" Johnny asked. "What are you gonna do if you get caught?"

"I'll work hard to protect her. Her privacy and safety is my top priority." Jeno answered. "If the company find out, I'll take all the blame, and if worse comes to worst, I'll quit being an idol."

"Okay that is too-"

"I'm serious. I'll drop anything to protect you." Jeno interjected.

"I don't think I can approve of something like this." Johnny lamented, making the girl frown.

"Youngho, please." Namu pleaded. "You know how much he means to me."

"I know I did fuck up a little in the past and I wholeheartedly accept and apologize for that. I'll work on your trust so you'll trust me with your sister." Jeno said. There was a long pause before the older boy nodded.

"Well, I'm glad to hear that." Johnny chortled, going back on his phone. "You guys want to watch a movie or something? If you're going to your room keep the door opened."

The couple shared a surprised looked before Namu spoke up. "Wait, you don't have a problem with it?"

"I don't. I got so bored of waiting for you two to tell me and decided to give you two a little scare." Johnny grinned. "Got you real good didn't I? Maybe I should ask SM to let me start an acting career."

"I feel my blood pressure rising and the prescription is to beat the shit out of you." Namu growled, gritting her teeth.

"I'd like to see you try, tiny sister." Johnny challenged.

"Calm." Jeno mumbled patting her head. "He just needs to stand and you won't be able to reach his neck."

Johnny laughed, watching his sister struggle to try and strangle him. "If you guys are done eating you should put your plates away. We don't want the ants to get to them."

"Oh right, have you eaten? There's still some soup left and I can whip you up something." Namu offered, getting up.

"It's alright, I had dinner with Taeyong and Yuta." Johnny declined. "Like I said, accomplices."

"Whatever. You're on dish duty since you came unannounced." Namu huffed dragging Jeno towards her room.

"Alright, just leave the door open. You can close it when you're 18." Johnny reminded, making his way to the dining area.

"Youngho!"

"Enjoy." He hummed.

Everyone else brought their glass clink with his while Jisung and Namu did the same with their banana milk. Dream decided to have a mini party at Chenle's house a couple of days before the NCT new year party.
