ad using the tune of 'Shaun the sheep' theme song as I peacefully ate my bowl of beans and plantain.
"So how do you think this year's Valentine's is gonna be like" Elliot tried to start a conversation.
"I don't know, people are really going all out. I've been seeing gifts being delivered all week. I just bought Nicole a new makeup kit full of Kylie Jenner cosmetics and delivered it" Austin said.
"Well Noah is in London so I just shipped him a new camera cause he likes taking pictures cause he's a geek like that and added like 5 of my hoodies cause that would make him happy" James chipped in before taking a spoon of beans.
"Aww that's so cute" I teased.
"I told my mum to get something for me from my agent and she didn't hesitate to do it as she really likes Natalie and Angel likes her too" Elliot shrugged.
"How bout you Ash... What did you get your princess...I mean Queen" he mocked.
"Nothing" I shrugged taking another spoon into my mouth and looking at them.
"What" James gawked. "Come on, you can tell us its not as if we'll tell her" Austin encouraged.
"I'm serious I didn't get her anything for valentines day" I clarified and they looked at me in shock before looking at each other and bursting into fits of laughing clenching their stomachs.
I rolled my eyes and looked around to see that we've gained the attention of most of the cafeteria. "Are you guys done" I asked tired of watching them as they died down.
"Oh oh my gosh that was the most unexpected thing to hear" James whipped his eyes and tried to stop laughing.
"The way she will use slippers to beat you eh, just start scrolling on Amazon for a good gift" Austin laughed.
"Dude how could you not get her a gift" Elliot chipped in.
"Its not as if I didn't want to buy her anything, we just decided to take Thursday as a normal day and just enjoy each other's company" I explained.
"Why?" James asked still not believing my ass
"Because our 5th month anniversary is the next week and she didn't want to receive two gifts within 2 weeks" I quoted her.
"Nonsense" James slammed the table.
"I swear" Elliot high fived him.
"Trust me just get her something. She'll really love it and don't go too big" James advised.
"And how do you know" I challenged.
"Cause I don't know if you've notices but James and I are ladies men. We know girls, we know how they think, thus what they want" Elliot boasted and I nodded giving them the benefit of doubt.
"Fine I'll get her something. At least I won't be odd that day" I gave in going back to my food.
"Speaking of odd, here comes Mr Odd himself" Austin motioned and we turned to see Louis sitting alone at his table that's just a few feet from us as usual.
"Sad, that boy needs some loving" James took pity.
"Love wetin? Is it our fault he scares people away? Abeg he can goan die" I commented.
