* Ann's POV *
I woke up surprisingly early today. We all had breakfast and its still like 9am. I had absolutely no plan to do today and I didn't feel like having a lazy day either, I would have hung out with Nat all day but she has people to meet and is very keen on not wanting me to follow.
I wonder what's that about.
But anyway, what to do what to do. I sat hopelessly on my bed scrolling through my contacts to see who wants to meet up. Caleb is with Amanda, Henry is busy, favour is not even in the state, Naomi can't come and all my other close friends gave some excuse or the other. And every other person I know lives too far.
I would have contacted Ash but I've been with him basically since we closed, I have to give divided attention. James could have been another option and i really wanted to see Noah but I've met Chioma before and she's super weird.
I never thought I would meet someone weirder than me.
I continued looking for possible play dates when I stumbled upon an interesting contact.
Lone wolf🐺... But isn't it too soon tho...well fuck it
I decided to call anyway and hope for the best. He didn't answer the first time and decided to call again which he picked on the third ring.
Good cause I wasn't calling again
" Ann?" He spoke into the phone. There's a lot of noise there.
"Yep its me" I squeaked.
"I didn't expect you to call so soon, I guess you couldn't stop thinking about me" he said cockily.
"Oh shut up before you make me regret this call" I spat making him chuckle.
"So what's up?"
"Oh literally nothing, my schedule is free and I was just wondering if we could hang out"
Its as simple as that
"Oh yikes sorry I'm kinda busy" he deadpanned.
Why is Friday such a busy day
"With what?"
At least let me know what he's ditching me for
"Today is my little sister's birthday, you know the toddler..she's 4 and we have this whole party going on" he informed.
"Oh she's so cute.. Hmm a birthday party, I'm down" I shrugged.
"You want to come to a toddler's birthday party" he asked surprised.
"Why not, it could be fun and plus I'm great with children... Well some" I rethought
"But we're still putting the finishing touches, it actually starting by 1:30" he clarified
"Louis come help with the banner" I heard a very thick female Spanish accent in the background.
"I'm coming ma...sorry about that, that was my mum. They need me as the tallest person in the house, well almost tallest, my dad is still a tiny bit taller" he admitted making me laugh.
"Well I could come right now and help, I don't mind honestly" I shrugged.
"Aww that's so sweet" he mocked me.
