Theo

The day finally came around. I sat in the shotgun while Isaac drove with one hand on the wheel, the other out the window of the car. We haven't talked since that night. After he left me crying in my bedroom after what happened, I haven't seen the light of day till today.

Micah hadn't texted me, but I felt too guilty to even look at my phone anymore. He doesn't deserve such a shitty person like me.

"So you're leaving.."

"Yeah no shit." I snapped, looking out the window away from Isaac. He sighed and sped up a bit as we were getting closer and closer to the airport.

"Theo we need to talk."

"Oh? No we don't. Nothing happened, forget about it."

"Theo-"

"It was just one night. We were both wasted, things got heated, so don't think much about it." It went silent. Isaac didn't say anything and I didn't dare to.

"It meant a lot to me, but I guess that feeling isn't mutual." Oh fuck my life.

I bit my lip, drawing blood as I felt tears brim at my eyes. Don't cry, don't cry!

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I know you're in love with Micah. Plus you're leaving anyways so this means nothing."

"You're my best friend Isaac.."

"I know, but I think I shouldn't be." His monotone voice got to me. Isaac always held emotion when he spoke. I guess I hurt him too.

He parked by the front door of the airport, looking over at me as I kept my head down, staring at my lap for a bit before ruffling my hair. I looked up, meeting his eyes before frowning.

"Fine. If that's how you want it to be, good for you Isaac. How can you tell me to forget about you so easily? As if we haven't been like brothers ever since you moved here... Have fun, see you never." I snapped, scowling as I got out of the car in a hurry, slamming the door shut as I pulled my luggage out of the opened trunk.

"THEO!" He yelled out the window but I just put up the middle finger as I continued walking, not looking at him.

I walked in through the doors, checking in quickly before checking what gate my flight would be at in the lobby.

I took a seat by the gate, finally pulling out my phone after a week of just leaving it to charge. Isaac had called me three times. I wanted to call him, but I decided against it.

I should be crowned the biggest douchebag of the century.

As the plane was about to leave, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and an unknown number flashed on the screen. I answered it, and my heart dropped at the sound of the caller's voice.

"Theo, it's Micah."
