Bittersweet // Jensoo

Chapter 9

They had a shower and brought Jennie back to the hospital to have a checkup. Rosé drove them there with Jennie's car. They waited for a while and finally got to see the doctor. He exclaimed the scar and said:

"The stitches can be removed now but it's gonna leave a scar"

"Is there anyway to remove it?" Lisa asked

"I'm afraid no, maybe by time or surgery only" the doctor said

Rosé massaged Jennie's shoulders to reassure her, no girl in this world would like to leave a scar. They were a little worried but unexpectedly Jennie didn't look sad. She thought for a moment and turned her head to Jisoo, she asked:

"Do you mind me with a scar?"

Jisoo was taken by surprised but she answered:

"Of course no"

"Then it's fine, just leave the scar" Jennie said

Lisa and Rosé exchange glances after hearing what Jennie said, Jisoo blushed a little and the doctor chuckled saying:

"Okay, but actually it's going to be a small scar, almost invisible when you see with bare eyes"

He removed the stitches and they gathered around Jennie's knee to examined the scar, apparently it wasn't as horrible as they thought it would be. It's just a white narrow scar about 2cm.

"You can see nothing!" Jisoo exclaimed

"Why do you want to see something? Or do you prefer people with scars?" Jennie asked

"What if I said I like people with scars?" Jisoo asked

"I'll just go have a scar implantation, that's possible right doctor?" Jennie asked

Rosé shook her head and said:

"Ignore them doctor, they're just flirting"

Jennie gave Jisoo a big wink causing everyone to laugh and Jisoo to blush. Jisoo covered her face with her hands and Jennie pulled her to her side and left her hand around her waist.

The doctor checked Jennie's ankle and said:

"I'm glad to say your ankle is getting better, can you walk without crutches now?"

Jennie stood up and tried walking without crutches, it felt weird but it was okay. She told the doctor:

"Yeah I think so"

"Okay so you should stop relying walking with crutches, walk more and you'll be back to normal in no time, meanwhile you still have to be careful in daily life, don't want accidents to happen again, is there anyone to help you?" the doctor said

"Yes I can help" Jisoo said

"Ah the girlfriend" the doctor said

All of them laughed and Jisoo blushed furiously

"I'm not her girlfriend!" Jisoo protested

"Soon to be" Jennie said

The doctor smiled and said:

"Okay, I'll write a list of food that you should prepare more fo her, to get her bones better"

"Okay thank you" Jisoo said

The doctor wrote some notes and passed it to them, they left afterwards. They went to a nearby market to buy some ingredients. Lisa ran out from the car and jumped into a trolley when they arrived. She turned her head back to Rosé and pleaded:

"Can you push me?"

Rosé smiled and said:

"Okay"
