Bittersweet // Jensoo

Chapter 15

Jennie woke up with a major headache. She opened her eyes a little and saw someone laying next to her. Assuming it was Jisoo, she inched forward, closed her eyes back and hugged the person. She mumbled:

"Good morning love"

The person in her arms chuckled, she shook her head and said:

"Good morning"

Jennie frowned, Jisoo's voice sounded different, she asked:

"What happened to your voice"

Irene laughed and said:

"What's wrong with my voice?"

Jennie thought for a while and said:

"It sounds different, normally it's like huskier and deeper"

Jennie sniffed the air and said:

"And you smell different too, did you apply lotion?"

Jennie hugged her in more and said:

"It's okay, I still like my Jisoo"

Irene laughed out loud and said:

"I'm not Jisoo"

Jennie's eyes opened immediately and she shouted:

"What?"

Before Irene knew it, she was laying on the floor beside her bed. Apparently Jennie had kicked her down.

Jennie sprang up and said:

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, are you okay?"

Rubbing her arms, Irene complained:

"Try to be kick down from your own bed, does that sounds okay?"

Jennie pulled her up back to the bed and said:

"I'm so so sorry"

Irene shook her head signalling that she was fine. After a while, Jennie asked:

"Why am I in your room?"

Irene looked and her and said:

"Don't you remember anything?"

Jennie frowned for a while, she tried to get her memories back but it failed, she gave up and said:

"Not really, what happened?"

"Well I was home and I suddenly received your call, you sounded horrible, you wanted me to go fetch you, when I got there, you're all drunk and you passed out, Jungkook, Minho and Rosé were there, along with two girls, I think their names are Jisoo and Lisa, I'm not sure" Irene said

"And?" Jennie asked

"And I brought you home, you were stinking and you vomited at my car porch, I hate you for that" Irene said

"Do you have any idea why I'm so drunk?" Jennie asked

Irene thought for a moment and said:

"I think it's because you had a fight with Jisoo, that's what she told me"

Irene's words hit Jennie's heart. Memories started linking and forming up. Everything that happened yesterday came flowing back to Jennie's mind. From what happened in the toilet, then the club, then Jisoo and Jin Young came, then she accidentally scratched Jin Young's face, she remembered. The scene of Jisoo slapping her flashed in her mind and her heart clenched together. Unconsciously, she touched her face and mumbled:

"She slapped me"

Before she knew it, tears started to fill in Jennie's eyes, the fight was painful enough for Jennie until she remembered the slap. It didn't hurt physically but the mental pain is enough to crush Jennie's heart.
