Jennie woke up in Jisoo's room. Still sleepy and blurry, she checked her phone for the time but she found 11 missed calls from her mother.
"Shit" Jennie cursed
She called back to her mother immediately.
"Hello mother?" Jennie said
"Where were you last night?" her mother asked, sounding a little angry
"I was at Jisoo's house" Jennie explained
"Oh" Jennie's mother replied
"I'm sorry for not letting you know, I fell asleep" Jennie said
Her mother hesitated for a while then she asked:
"Jennie, Jisoo's just your friend right?"
"Well..." Jennie said
She hadn't finished her sentence when her mother cut her off and said:
"Tell me she's just a friend"
Jennie paused for a moment and finally softly said:
"Yes"
"Good" her mother said
"Bring her home later, we hired a temporary chef, your father and I would like to have a lunch with her" her mother continued
"There's no need for that" Jennie immediately said
"Jennie, we would like to meet her" her mother said
Jennie frowned and finally said:
"I will bring her back by lunch time"
"Good" her mother said and hung up the phone.
Just then, Jisoo who's still sleeping mumbled:
"You're noisy"
Jennie smiled and laid back beside Jisoo, she hugged Jisoo and said:
"Good morning"
Jisoo slowly opened her eyes and asked:
"Who called?"
"My mother" Jennie replied
"Why did she called?" Jisoo asked
"My parents wants to have a lunch with me and you" Jennie said
Jisoo frowned and asked:
"Who's 'you'?"
Her mind suddenly processed the words and she sprang up from the bed, she opened her eyes and asked:
"Wait, 'you' as in me?"
Jennie chuckled and said:
"'you' as in 'Kim Jisoo'"
"M-me, why?" Jisoo asked
"They would like to thank you for taking care of me" Jennie said
"Is that okay?" Jennie asked
Jisoo thought for a while and muttered:
"Ye-yeah, sure"
She turned to Jennie and asked:
"How are they like? Will they like me? What if they don't? Should I dress maturely? What if-"
Jennie stopped her words by pulling her back to her side, she chuckled and said:
"It's going to be fine"
"Are you sure, what if they don't like me?" Jisoo asked
"They will, trust me" Jennie said
Jisoo slowly nodded her head. Jennie hesitated for a while and said:
