Bittersweet // Jensoo

Chapter 27

After they had breakfast. Jennie brought Jisoo to a meadow. Jennie covered Jisoo's eyes with both her hands and they slowly walked to the inner part of the meadow. After some time, Jennie finally said:

"We're there"

She slowly removed her hands from Jisoo's eyes. Jisoo slowly opened her eyes but it widen immediately when she saw everything in front.

Almost the whole area were decorated in flower petals and balloons. There's a cloth in the middle and it's full of foods and beverages. What even shocked Jisoo more is there's a grand piano and a very enormous balloon-like thing beside. Her mouth dropped to the floor, it was the most beautiful sight she've ever seen.

Jennie smiled as she saw Jisoo's reaction, she hugged Jisoo from behind and softly asked:

"Do you like it?"

"I love it" Jisoo mumbled, still amazed by what she's seeing

Jennie laughed and said:

"Glad you do"

"Why?" Jisoo asked

"What why?" Jennie replied

"Why all these?" Jisoo asked again

Jennie smiled and said:

"Remember our first date?"

Jisoo nodded her head. Jennie continued:

"A picnic date, just like our first one"

Jisoo was so touched, she almost cried but she held back her tears. Jennie realised but didn't say anything. After some time, Jisoo softly said:

"Thank you"

Jennie smiled and took Jisoo's hands, then they walked over to the balloon-like thing.

"What's that?" Jisoo asked

"Hot air balloon" Jennie replied

Jisoo squealed in excitement:

"Really? Can we ride it?"

Jennie nodded her head and said:

"Of course"

Jisoo jumped up and down screaming:

"Oh my god! Oh my god!"

Jennie took out her phone and called the assistants to help. After half an hour, with the help of the professional workers, both of them were high up in the sky.

Jisoo was enjoying the view from up high, she said:

"Don't you think it's pretty?"

She then turned her head to Jennie but surprisingly found Jennie closing her eyes, her face was pale and her lips went white.

"You alright? What happened?" Jisoo immediately worriedly asked

Jennie forced a smile and said:

"Motion sickness"

"Then why did you chose this!" Jisoo exclaimed

"Cause I knew you would like it, don't you?" Jennie asked

"Yes, but-" Jisoo was cut of by Jennie

"No buts, the important thing is you liked it" Jennie said

"Okay" Jisoo said but she was feeling guilty

Jennie sensed her guilt and immediately stood up to show Jisoo that she's fine.

"Stand still, I'll take a picture of you" Jennie said
