Percy POV
"Helena!" Percy yelled as soon as he saw her head fall forward. He reached out to hold her up.
"Percy it's fine. It's normal" Annabeth said. Despite her words, Annabeth showed a bit of concern.
Clovis rubbed his chin while still touching Helena's forehead. "I don't sense anything dangerous. It was if her memory was clouded, not removed. But it was forcibly done. Whoever did this wanted her to discover her past on her own."
Percy and Annabeth looked at each other. Another work of the gods?
Clovis shook his head. "She's out cold. I think she went far too deep. We need to wake her up." He took his hand off of her forehead. But Helena remained motionless, only propped up by Percy's support.
"Uh Clovis. Why isn't she waking up?" Percy asked worriedly.
Clovis looked just as puzzled. "I'm not sure. But this can't be good news. We should take her to the infirmary."
Without hesitation, Percy lifted her up, carrying Helena in her arms. "Annabeth, find Chiron. Tell him what happened."
Annabeth nodded and ran out of the cabin first.
"Thanks for your help, Clovis, but we got it from here."
Clovis, who looked sorry, nodded and led Percy out.
*****
Percy sat by Helena in the infirmary while Will tended to her. For some reason, Percy felt a brotherly bond with her. Sure, they've only known each for such a short time. But Helena has only been kind and gentle towards everyone and everything.
"Well, there's good news and bad news. Good news is she's just unconscious. I don't sense any immediate danger or harm. Bad news is I don't know when she'll wake up" Will said. The son of Apollo tried his best to wake her up.
"Thanks Will" Percy said as Will walked out the infirmary.
Immediately, Chiron and Annabeth walked in. Chiron was in his wheelchair to take on the form of a human. Chiron came up to Helena's side and put his hand on her forehead. Instantly, his face was grim. Annabeth looked at him, expecting him to explain what he saw or felt. Instead, Chiron pulled his hand away and sighed.
"What happened, Chiron? Will she be okay?" Annabeth asked.
"Too much has happened that I cannot explain, child" Chiron said solemnly. "Let us leave. Helena needs all the rest she can get. Especially for what's to come..."
Percy almost couldn't hear that last part. But he took Annabeth's hand and walked outside. He was just as confused and didn't want to leave his new friend behind. But he had other matters to tend to.
As they were walking out, Percy stopped Annabeth.
"What's wrong, Percy?" Annabeth asked.
"Wise Girl, what was the look you gave Helena in your cabin earlier?"
