Leo POV
Leo lit his hands on fire, ready to do some serious damage.
Reyna's dogs, Aurum and Argentum, appeared; they were sniffing around to see what they could find.
"No one's allowed to the headquarters without invitation. Everyone knows that." Jason said.
"Well apparently not everyone. Please wait here while Praetor Zhang and I check to see if anything's been tampered with." Reyna excused herself. Aurum left to go with the praetors while Argentum stood guard with the others.
Leo and his friend stood back to back in a circle in case someone popped out in front of them. The Principia had drapes on the walls, the ceiling had a beautiful mosaic of a wolf, and the floor was made of polished marble. It was an impressive place compared to what Camp Half Blood used for their headquarters.
"I think whoever was here is gone, but how they even got in I guess we'll never know," said Jason.
Frank and Reyna returned. From the look of their faces, it seemed like nothing was missing.
"Everything's in its place but its been moved around. Clearly, whoever was in here was looking for something but gave up." Frank sighed.
"We'll have to deal with this later. We have more important matters. Please, have a seat." Reyna pointed towards the table at the center of the room.
Once everyone sat down, Jason got up and grabbed a notebook from the table.
"We've been trying to track down the missing campers by looking into their history. Maybe something from their past made them run. But the three missing campers are some of the nicest people we've met." Jason explained.
"Has anything weird been happening at camp?" Percy asked.
Reyna stood up and started pacing, her guard dogs following at her heel. "There have been a few. Most of it just your average demigod level weird. But we tried to find events that could've led to the missing campers. There is no connection at all."
"Can you tell us more about these campers?" Piper asked.
Jason nodded. "As I mentioned before, there are three missing campers. Two boys and a girl. The boys are brothers, Harry and Henry Turner. Harry is 23. He lives in New Rome and was a centurion when he was a part of the camp. Henry is 19 and attending college in New Rome. He is a member of the Third Cohort. They're both descendants of Apollo."
"The third missing camper is a girl named Esther. She's fairly new and joined the Fifth Cohort. Daughter of the goddess Victoria. She's 16 and always followed directions." Frank finished. Frank, who resides in the Fifth cohort, was clearly anguished at the thought of a missing bunk mate.
Leo coughed. "And how do we play a part in this? Don't get me wrong, I want to help. But I don't understand where the Greeks come into play."
"Ella the harpy recited another part of the Sibylline books a week ago. She mentioned a great threat and unlikely heroes joining hands." said Reyna.
"Sounds similar to the prophecy we received."
"Exactly. So now what we need to do is have you guys help us. Help us protect camp and find the campers."
Percy nodded and finally spoke up. "We won't let you down. We promise to help find the missing campers and protect Camp Jupiter."
Frank smiled. "Great. And on that note, let's get some breakfast."
