I sighed heavily and gripped the steering wheel, temptation almost overwhelming me to honk the horn at the traffic. It's just a good thing I packed the rest of my belongings in my car so I didn't have to go back through all this mess. I still have one more paper to sign and the apartment is mine. I'm not so excited about going to one apartment from another apartment, but the one I'm heading to now is much more bigger and I needed more space.
The traffic started to move, and as soon as it did, I was off the highway at the next exit. I have really bad road rage, and I'm trying to work on it by not flipping the person in front and behind me off. Plus, the apartment isn't that much further from the exit. I inhaled deeply, then after a few seconds I let it out. I don't know why I'm so nervous about moving. Its not the first time, I guess its where I know I'm getting farther away from home.
I pulled into an empty parking spot and turned off my car. I gazed at the building. "People who look at this building probably think rich people live here." I mumbled to myself. I am definitely not rich. I mean, I make videos on YouTube, but I only have around 500k subscribers. I got out of my car and grabbed the box and backpack. I was making my way to the door to go into the building but before I reached my hand out for the handle, the door was already being pulled open. I looked at the person who opened the door and it was a blonde haired boy. "Oh, uhm, thank you!" I smiled at him. "No problem, you're my new neighbor and you've been going back and forth all day." I went into the building and looked back at him, seeing he was following me. "So you're who I heard yelling with a bunch of other people yesterday?" I giggled as I seen his face get red a little. "Yeah, uh, that was me and my friends.. We did it for a video.." I smiled. "Just as long as I can sleep I don't mind. I grew up with 5 brothers and sisters and I could hear them screaming and yelling through the walls." He laughed slightly and looked down at the box I was carrying. "Do you need any help with moving in?" He looked back up at me. "Hm? Oh, no I got it.. Its just this little bit left and I'm moved in." He raised an eyebrow slightly. "You've been driving back and forth, carrying heavy objects, and you look tired. Plus if I help it'll make up for the screaming and everything." I sighed in defeat and handed him the box. "Ffffine." He smiled and followed me up to my apartment.
I unlocked the door and put my bag down on the kitchen counter, Sam putting down the box beside it. I looked at him and smiled. "Thank you for helping me...?" I dragged out. "Sam. Sam Golbach! and dont thank me, I just wanted to help cause you looked very tired and worn out." I smiled. "Well, Sam, I'm Tony, and that was very sweet of you." I looked at him. "Give me your phone so I can put my number in. You can text me when you need to move more things in!" I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and unlocked it, handing it to him. He put his number in and handed my phone back. "I better get going so I can film a video with my friends, Ill see you later, Tony!" He waved before walking out of my apartment. I smiled and waved back, looking down at my phone. I was about to text and ask if I could have help moving more things in tomorrow, but I realized I had everything I needed. I bit my lip and put my phone in my back pocket.

I woke up to the sun coming through the blinds and shining right in my eyes. I sat up and stretched then grabbed my phone.

Tony - Hey, this is Tony! 😁
Sam 😋 - Oh, hey! What are you up to?
    Tony - Nothing really, why?
Sam 😋 - I was just wondering if we could hang out today?
    Tony - Yeah, I'm down ☺️
Sam 😋 - Great! I'll be at your place in 15?
    Tony - Perfect!
Sam 😋 - Okay, see you then. ☺️

I put my phone down, sliding out of my bed.  I looked around at the different clothes I can wear, finding it difficult to pick out an outfit. I groaned loudly. After five minutes of looking, I finally decided on a black cropped top with some jean shorts and a pair of sandals. I looked at myself in the mirror, smiling confidently. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. "Okay, theres still some time to spare until he gets here." I looked around in the kitchen to try to find something to eat. There was some unopened packages of pop-tarts in the cabinets, but there were so many flavors. The one that stood out was the chocolate chip cookie dough, so I decided on those for breakfast. After the last few minutes have passed, I heard the doorbell ring. I placed down the last remaining half if the pop-tart and scrabbled to the door. As the door opened, the blonde haired boy was seen, smiling and waving. "Hey, Tony..!" I smiled and stepped to the side. "Hi! Come in!" He stepped inside, the door slowly closing behind him. I looked over at him and grabbed the pop-tart I was finishing.  "So, what are we gonna do today?" He shrugged slightly. "Wanna make some videos and eat somewhere?" I nodded, taking the last bite of the pop-tart. "Sure, sounds good." I smiled.
As the day went on, we learned more and more about each other. We learned each other's hobbies, favorite places to go, favorite restaurants, everything. "So, Tony... How about I take you out to eat sometime..? Like this Friday..?" I blushed and smiled. "I'm free Friday so yeah, I'd love to!" He smiled. "Any specific time or..?" I shook my head. "Just text me when you're coming over." He nodded and smiled.
