Another few weeks pass... Sierra and I have been officially dating for about a month now. I haven't heard anything from Kendall. Kylie constantly nags about how I screwed up and how much of a jerk I am to be with Sierra right after breaking up with Kendall. Basically, I'm a dick, we all know I can be... but that's besides the point!! The point is, Kendall broke up with me, so I moved on. I don't get why she blames me... she broke up with me.

Sierra and I cuddle on my bed, blankets scattered on our hips, a few beers finished, and finally getting to watch Netflix. After a long day of training and hunting, Kyle finally let us do our own thing.

"Babe, slow... slow down, what's going on?" Kyle asks in the hall. His footsteps circle around in a two foot radius.

A few moments pass and I get a loud bang on my door. Before I can even open it, Kylie bursts through the door. Her face blood red, brows severely furrowed, practically foaming at the mouth.

"I'm gonna kill you!" She exclaims.

Sierra looks at me and back at Kylie. My eyes widen, I'm shocked and confused... why is she here and why is she pissed off?

My eyes widen even more to the point where they could pop out of my head. I glance at Kyle who stands pissed behind Kylie.

"Dude, I can't believe you," Kyle mumbles under his breath. He steps into the door frame behind Kylie. "I would tell you to start running, but if she didn't catch you, which is highly unlikely, I would," he pauses and grits his teeth. "and then I'd kill you."

Kylie grabs ahold of my ankles and drags me off the floor. My head harshly hits the hardwood floor, ushering in a wave of pain. What the hell?

She drags me out to the hall, I try digging my claws into the floor to stop her, but it's no use. She straddles me and smirks devilishly. She starts clawing at me with her talons, pain striking my face and chest.

I groan in agony and attempt to cover my face with my arms. Pain stings my arms as she continues clawing.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa... what's going on here?" Sierra asks, rushing out of the bedroom.

Kylie laughs as she tortures me. Her laughs halt as she becomes more aggressive.

She looks at Sierra and then back at me with a sick look in her eye. Her eye twitches.

"Oh so you haven't told her about your little rendezvous with Kendall... interesting." Kylie comments.

A wicked smile curls onto her face.

"What are you talking about?" Sierra asks, turning her confused gaze to me. "Jake, what is she talking about?" Kylie stops clawing at me long enough to say,

"He broke my sisters heart and then knocked her up."

I what? Did she just say.... oh no. No, no, no... please God no. We... we were drunk... we had... no way!

"Wait, wait, wait..." I beg, I squint in case she starts again. "First of all, I didn't break her heart, she broke up with me. Secondly, we were drunk and I don't remember anything from that night. Thirdly, I did what now?!" I exclaim.

I change gazes from a pissed Kylie to a confused and heartbroken Sierra. My eyes grow to be the size of saucers, mostly because of the shock. Not because of Kylie straddling me.

"You... you had sex with... with Kendall?" Sierra questions, her tone upsetting. Tears collect at the brim of her blueish green eyes.

I look back at Kylie and cover my eyes with my palms for a moment. The darkness is the only thing comforting me at the moment.

"I don't remember it, we were drunk, I was drunk, I swear." I explain.

"My sister wouldn't be that stupid, especially to sleep with someone like you." Kylie retorts.

Like me? What's that supposed to mean, bitch? I scoff and gently wiggle my way out of her grasp.

"Well you must not know her because apparently she was too drunk to know better and you better think before you speak because Kyle is the same as me.'" I snap.

Her brows raise in shock that I would say such a thing. As if it were a shock to her that I would say that. As if I were a complete ass.

"Kyle is not the same! Kyle isn't a fucking cheater! As for Kendall, you need to talk to her, because she wants to know exactly how involved you are going to be in your child's life," she pauses to get off of me. "you need to tell her that you won't help her, you do that and you can continue to live, you can be with this mutt, you can be childless with no contact to her or the baby." Kylie rattles with a smile to top her plan off.

"No, I'm not going to do that." I reply.

I get up off the floor and brush my arms off, blood slowly collects back to the wounds as they heal.

"What the hell are you talking about, of course you are going to do that!" She snaps.

"That child has half of my DNA, I want to be there if Kendall needs me. She can decide if she wants me in their lives. I want to make sure she knows I will be there for her if she needs me." I reply.

I walk into my room to grab my hoodie. I walk to my mirror and fix my hair for a moment.

"Sierra, do you approve of this?" Kyle asks.

"Yes, I mean, it's his kid. If this is something he wants to be involved in, he needs to talk to her." She replies.

"Thank you babe, I'll be back in a bit." I reply.

Kyle's brows raise. His attention pans between Sierra and I multiple times before shaking his head. He raises his hands in disbelief. Multiple thoughts flood his brain as he opens his mouth wide enough to make random noises before speaking.

"It just hit me, you two are dating?!" Kyle asks.

"Yeah, about that... we've been dating for a while." Sierra replies sheepishly. She covers her mouth with her hoodie sleeve, hiding her slightly love-stricken smile.

I grab my hoodie off of my bed and walk past Kyle and Kylie. I rush down the stairs and put my hoodie on, popping the hood above my head at the last step.

"Where are you going? You aren't going to Kendall's." Kyle asks.

I pause and look back at him. His stance is stiff and powerful. He grabs ahold of my hood, gripping the innocent fibers in between his fingers and yanks me back.

"Just let me do this, I'm fucking nineteen years old Kyle, I don't have to listen to you." I snap, slamming the door after walking outside.

I hop on my bike, swinging my leg over the seat. I shove the key into the ignition, slowly twist it, and wait for it to roar to life. When it does, I take off down the road and off to see Kendall. I pull into the driveway and get off my bike. Ken's 2019 Kia Forte LXS is in the driveway.

I knock three times, my bruised knuckles sting from hitting the door. An eerie silence fills the crisp air.

"Ken, it's me, I just want to talk." I mumble through the door. "Kendall?" I call out. Just as I call her name, a gunshot fills the silence. I stumble backwards at the sound, is Kendall alright? That sounded like it was nearby. Please just be somewhere else, please. "Ken, please open the door. I just heard a gunshot, I need to know you're okay." I add.

She still doesn't come to the door. I wiggle the doorknob, the door slightly opens. I walk inside to an empty house. I look around the dark house, no Kendall.

"Ken?" I call out. Okay this is weird, her car is in the driveway. "Kendall, I'm coming upstairs now, where are you?"

I walk upstairs, turn the corner to get to her room, walk down the hallway, and stand in her doorframe.

A disturbing silence fills the atmosphere, only the ticking of a clock hung in the hallway produces sound. I could drop a pin and hear each pang from the impact of the metal to the floor.

"Kendall?" I question.

I shutter in inaudible gasps and shock filled breaths. I stand in her doorframe in shock, what have I done? What have I done?
