A/N Yay updateeee! Since I forgot last saturday, I'll post 2 chapters to make up for it. SORRY!!! :( And also, apologies for the formatting issue and repeated sections on my last chapter. My wattpad glitched and deleted the entire previous chapter, and i only saved part of it, so I had to rewrite the rest. :( Tech issues suck.... I've got it allllllll fixed (hopefully). If you notice anything wrong with my chapters, please message me so I can fix it before too many people notice XD
Cato's POV
Finally, everything with Glimmer is done because she seems to get bored of me ignoring her constant attempts to shoot an arrow in the direction of the target. Unfortunately, Lover Boy's hair is still un-trimmed. Well, I suppose I could attempt to convince Everdeen to shave some off. Oh, now that reminds me. Everdeen was watching through the entire ordeal, laughing at my pain; relishing in the moment. I need revenge. Fast. I can't die her hair, because it'll take to long and I'm not a patient man. I need something now.
"Hey, Cato!"
I look up. "Oh, hey Clove. What's the plan now? It's been way longer than an hour, we have about 45 minutes left before lunch."
"Yeah, I know. Marvel suggests we get our lunches and take them to the lounge. Without Glimmer of course, she's annoying as hell. In the lounge we can plan and stuff."
"Wait are we inviting Everdeen?"
"Obviously. Have you seen that girl shoot?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
"And let me guess, you're trying to plot a way of revenge on her for ruining your hair."
"10 out of 10 for observation, Clove."
"Just saying, it was Marvel and I who planned most of it." Clove has a wicked, satisfied, amused smirk on her face.
Wait what? They were the ones who did it? But-
"Wait then why- what- i mean- how-" I splutter, trying to get a coherent sentence out.
"Poor little Cato.... you seem to be stuttering a lot these days!" Everdeen says as she walks up, smirking as usual.
"Wait then what does firegirl have to do with anything?"
"Well, it's a long story. All that matters is that your hair is ruined and we are happy. Now let's have lunch!" Katniss announces, with a laughing Clove agreeing.
I scoff. Well, looks like the revenge should be on all 3 of them, not just fire girl. This is going to require more plotting...... I may not be a patient man, but I guess I can wait until the arena. That's when Cato's REAL revenge shall begin. With that in mind, I smirk and follow the two girls to lunch.
We grab our trays of food quickly, making sure to avoid eye contact with Glimmer, who is bothering Peeta as of right now.
I grab the pitcher of apple juice and begin pouring it in my cup, when....
"Guys, how are we going to get there without getting caught?" Marvel breathes as he casually laddens his tray with salad.
"We can't all go at once, it'll look too suspicious," Clove replies, sprinkling some pepper over her salad, acting relaxed.
"If we go seperately, it'll increase the chances of Glimmer seeing us though..." Everdeen mutters quietly, trying to look inconspicuous by taking a few slices of watermelon, despite already having other fruits.
"Look, the rest of us go while someone distracts Glimmer. Then, that person can just pretend to use the bathroom or something as an excuse to leave. And Cato, you better stop pouring the apple juice because it's overflowing and dripping," Marvel adds.
