Tessa's POV

The wedding was in two days and Aline was going crazy to make sure everything's in order. The place was booked, with a priest that spoke English since the one they had hired at first, could only speak Spanish well. The venue was actually where the reception would take place, too which was some streets from the hotel. It was a huge garden and there would be tents set up and so on. She pretty much had people she paid to organize the wedding perfectly and I would receive my dress on the day of the wedding. I didn't see why she was worrying so much. Ed, on the other hand was just playing with Tris, Jay and Jessie while Josh was sleeping on Krystal's shoulder.

"I hope they get it perfect!" Aline said to no one in particular, frustration visible in her gentle voice. "I mean, sometimes people forget and they can't forget!" 'They' I assumed, meant the wedding planers.

"Would you shut up?" Ed asked rudely, turning his attention to his significant other.

"Ed, you never listen to me!" she snapped and rolled her eyes, pacing the room. He just rolled his eyes and mouthed that she's always like this when she's frustrated.

"Aline, you're overreacting," I told her. "Calm down."

"Yeah, you should," Krystal added gently.

Aline let out a loud sigh and then stopped. "I'm gonna get some sleep." With saying that, she left the room and went to hers.

"Ed, you should go calm her down," Krystal suggested.

"No," he immediately answered. "She is moody when she's frustrated and will easily get pissed. The best thing to do is stay away."

"You are the worst fiance ever," I commented.

"I think he's right to do that," Josh said suddenly, rubbing his eyes indicating that he was now awake.

"Just like you," Krystal rolled her eyes.

"Speaking about that, when is your wedding?" Ed asked as Jessie and Tris tugged on his hair.

"Well first of all, I need to properly propose," Josh stated, bringing the memory of him using my assignment to propose to Krystal in my room.

"I think it should be somewhere around Christmas," Krystal suggested but quickly added when our eyes grew wide because Christmas was less than half of a year from now, "next year."

"Yeah, that would be a good time," Josh replied. My eyes flickered in the direction of the kids to see Jay asleep on the carpet floor, curled up like a ball. Do you know how many times I told him not to sleep on that carpet because people walk on it and there's germ and bacteria on it? He never listens! This is the 3rd time that he fell asleep on the carpet and for some reason, he find it very comfortable. I went over, scooped him, carried him to the bedroom and laid him down on the bed.

"Did it ever cross your mind that he looks a lot like his father?" I turned towards the door to see Krystal standing there, her arms folded and a sad expression on her face.

I took a deep breadth before answering. "Yeah." I didn't really wanted to entertain this conversation but I realized that almost everyday for the past week, someone brought Jamie up in a conversation. I actually wanted myself not to care and I was trying. It's been over a year, I think, and to be honest, I wanted him back, too but was also happy we broke up.

I know!

How the hell could she want him back and then be happy that they broke up?

Well I'm human and I'm sure everyone feels this kind of way. It's when one part of you says something but the other part disagrees- 50% wants to be back with Jamie but the other 50% doesn't.
