Chapter 20

Aliyah Pov

I lay in bed as I starred up at my ceiling until my alarm goes off before I get up. I have only two classes today and I wanted to go just to get my mind off things. I didn't call my mom yet, but I plan to after class and I already started packing. Symone ask me not to leave, but how can I stay when he lives here.  I couldn't sleep at all. Every moment we had kept playing over and over in my head. Every bit of happiness I had in me was drained. Congratulations August Alsina, I hope it was worth it.

I forced myself out of bed taking a hot shower before getting dressed a some gray joggers a white tank top with a black sweater and my black and white converse. I didn't care for how I look or what I was wearing I just wanted to get this day over with. I didn't bother putting make up on or anything, I just put my hair into a high ponytail grabbing my oversized Chanel purse.

Since Symone said I could use her car for today so I grab it off the counter not bothering to get something to eat and took the elevator down.

When I arrived at school I got weird looks from people but I just ignored them searched for the purple and black haired girl. It looks  like she was doing the same for me cause when she saw me she gasp dropping her things on the table running over to me.

"Oh my god. Are you okay?" She ask eyes scan my face.

"Do I look that bad?" I ask already knowing the answer

"Welll... as your friend yes you do" She said giving me a quick smile. I tired returning one but failed.

"Was it August?" She ask and I just simple nodded

"Look can we please not talk about it. I just want to get this day over with, but I'll tell later" I said

"Ugh alright" She sighed. I forced a smile before walking off to my first class. 

I love Alex, but really didn't feel like explaining anything to anyone right now and I didn't want to see the pitiful looks in their eyes. 

I want past the cafeteria and grab a small coffee since this class is two hours long. I'm going to need something to keep me awake. I my stomach grumbled as I walked into class, there was only a few people in the room and the teacher wasn't here yet. I took a seat in the back and quietly drink my coffee. I grab my phone to pass time but soon regret it when I saw my background.  I rolled my eyes changing the picture and deleting every picture I had of him expect one. It was with Me, him and Kay. I smile at the picture before locking my phone putting it away when more kids started entering the classroom.

I tried staying away during the lesson but we had read a 50 paged manuscript. It was really boring. I would tell you about it but to be honest all I saw was words and more words. I read it twice I still can't figure what its about. My phone kept going off during the whole class period and I got irritating looks from people, but I just ignore them and continued reading what it is I was reading. Class was finally over and everyone raced out the door as I slowly packed my things back in my bag. I got up and was about to walk out the door when my Professor called me back.

"Yes sir" I said 

"Good afternoon Ms. Edwards"  He smiles
