We were aboard the Hogwarts Express and Harry kept on ranting about the things we had seen in Diagon Alley. "So what was Draco doing with that weird looking cabinet? And who were all those people?" Harry asked. "Don't you see? It was a ceremony, an enunciation." He stated. "Harry, stop. I know where're you're going. And you don't even know if it true." I said, hoping that he would drop the subject, but he didn't. "It has happened. He is one of them." Harry concluded. "One of what?" Ron asked. "Harry is under the impression that Draco's a Death Eater." I scoffed. "Your barky. What would You-Know-Who want with Malfoy?" Ron chuckled. "What's he doing in Borgain&Burgs? Browsing for furniture?" Harry asked. "It's a creepy shop. It's a creepy guy." I gave Ron a kick against his shin and shot him a warning look. "If it'll make you feel better, I'll go talk to him and look if he is acting different." I stood up and walked out of the compartment.
I walked to the back of the train, where the Slytherin part was and carefully opened the door. I loved the fact that most Slytherins liked me, so it wouldn't bother them if I was here. I scanned the compartments until I saw Draco standing in the small path between the tables. I walked in and I locked eyes with Blaise. There appeared a smirk on his face and he turned towards Draco, trying to get his attention. I saw Blaise's lips move, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. Not long after, he pointed in my direction and Draco turned around to see what he was pointing at. He saw me and his face lit up in a way that I haven't seen in a long time. He walked over to me and the first thing he did was pulling me into his arms. He hugged so hard that it felt like he was hanging on for dear life.
"Draco.....need air." I chocked out. He released me immediately and chuckled uncomfortably while rubbing the nape of his neck. "Hi." He whispered. "He." I replied. He chuckled again and I decided to just go for it. "Draco, I noticed that you haven't written much this summer." I said. He seemed to become uncomfortable, but he replied anyway. "I was busy with a lot of things this summer. Sorry, that I haven't had much time. But you can come sit with me, if that makes you feel better." He smiled. I nodded and he led me to the table where Blaise and Pansy sat.
Blaise smiled and waved at me, but Pansy just scoffed and death-glared me. "Where's your stuff?" Blaise asked. "It's in the compartment with my friends." I responded and Pansy muttered something that I didn't hear, and probably don't want to hear.
Suddenly, the whole compartment went dark and some girls screamed. "What was that?" Draco asked immediately. "I don't know." I answered. I held my hand up and some sort of black sand fell onto my hand. I rubbed the substance between my fingers and inspected it. "Peruvian instant-darkness power." I whispered. Where had I seen this before?
*Flashback*
"Peruvian instant-darkness power." Harry read off the sign. "Very handy if you need a quick get away." George said. "You can take some if you'd like." Fred added. "No thanks, I'm good." I said, but I saw Harry stuff a piece into his pocket.
* End of Flashback*
"Harry." I whispered. "What did you say, love?" Draco asked. "Nothing." I responded quickly. Draco raised his eyebrow, but shrugged and sat down. "Hogwarts, what a pathetic excuse for a school. I think I'm going to pitch myself off the Astronomy tower before I'd continue for another 2 years." Draco mumbled. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "Let's say you won't see me wasting my time in Charms class next year." He grumbled.
"What's gotten into him?" I asked myself.
Blaise snorted, but it seemed more like he was mocking Draco. "Amused, Blaise?" Draco asked him. "Let's see who's laughing in the end." I gave him a strange look and I knew that he had seen it, but he ignored me. I heard a shuffle above me and my eyes shot towards the luggage rack. The bag that lay on it was moving.
