"So tell me, Cormac. What does your uncle, Timerias do these days?" Slughorn asked. Harry, Hermoine, Daniel, Samira and I were at Slughorn's supper party, to which Slughorn had invited us a few days ago.

"I'm actually meant to go hunting with him and the Minister of Magic over the holidays." He answered. "Well, be sure to give them both the best of me. And what about your uncle, Belby? For those who don't know, Marcus's uncle invented the Wolfsbane Potion. I he working on anything new?" Slughorn asked. "I don't know. He and dad don't get on. Comes because my dad says potions are rubbish. The only potion worth having is a stiff one on the end of the day." Belby explained while devouring his dessert.

I looked at Blaise, who was sitting in between Belby and Slughorn. He was eyeing Belby disgustingly.  I sent him an apologetic smile and turned back to the conversation Hermoine and Slughorn were having.

"They are dentists." Hermoine answered. Everyone stopped eating and looked at Hermoine, except for me, Harry, Daniel and Samira. "They tent to people's teeth." Hermoine explained. "Fascinating. And is that considered a dangerous profession?" "No. Although, one boy, Robby Fenwick did bite my father once. He needed 10 stitches." Hermoine said, chuckling. Everyone looked at her again and I sniffled at everyone's reaction.

The door opened and the only red-headed girl from the Weasley family came in. Her eyes were red and puffy, signaling that she had been crying. "Dean and her have been fighting again." I whispered to Hermoine. "Sorry, I'm not usually late." She said. She was about to shove her chair back when Harry stood up for no reason. Samira and I shared an awkward look.

"No matter, just in time for dessert. If Belby left you any." Slughorn joked. He then looked at me. "(Y/N), is it true that you are related to all the Hogwarts Founders?" I tensed up a bit. I didn't really like to talk about it because it reminded me of the fact that I was related to the man that murdered my mother. "Yeah, it is." "And how exactly is you family tree. I mean, from which side did you get which heritage?"

"Well, my mother was the Heir of Ravenclaw and Slytherin and my father is the Heir of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. My grandmother, from my mothers side, was a Gaunt and she married a Hillman, Heir of Ravenclaw. And my grandfather, from my fathers side, is a Hydra and married and McGlace, Heir of Hufflepuff. And my parents got me, which made me the Heir of all four." I explained. "Wow, such a fascinating family history, and are there still any family members left, next to your father?" "Only my grandfather.  He turns 96 this January." I answered.

After the party I told Harry to stay for a little bit, trying to get to know Slughorn better. I was walking around for a little while until I decided that I wanted to see my room.
I went up to the third floor and went over to the wooden door with the Hogwarts crest carved into it. But little did I know that I was being watched.

I walked into the front from and took a deep breath, having missed the silence of the room. I walked up to the desk and sat down in the large wooden chair. I picked up the black book, which always stayed there. I opened the book and stopped on the page of the Dark Mark. "I can't believe that he's marking with our family mark." I whispered. There was a knock on the door. I was confused, because no one knew I was here.

I stood up and walked over to the door. On the other side stood Draco. He was skinnier then before and his bags were bigger. He looked like he hadn't eaten and slept in days. His eyes were filled with sorrow, worry and fear. "Can I come in?" His voice was breaking, he sounded like he was about to cry. "Sure." I stepped aside slowly, not completely understanding the situation.

"Can you tell me why you're here?" I asked. "I need to tell you something." He croaked. I gently grabbed his writs and led him over to the lounge room. I sat him down on the red couch and looked at him. He stayed silent and I gently grabbed his left arm. He flinched at my touch. I looked up at him, frowning. He looked back, more fear and sorrow in his eyes.

I turned back to his arm and slowly pushed his sleeve up. There it was, the thing that I was afraid of seeing. Draco started shaking and crying. I wrapped my arms around him and pushed him into my chest. He kept saying "I'm sorry". I just stayed silent and rocked him back and forth. "It's okay, Draco." I whispered, to which he responded with a sob. I pulled back and looked him in the eye.

"Draco, I know you wouldn't choose this." I said. He just kept staring at me. "But you know you're not alone. I've got the Dark Mark too." He frowned, then realized what I meant. "And you can see it as positive. The Dark Mark is the sign of the Slytherin family. So, you're technically family." He seemed to lighten up after that. "You're not mad?" He asked, his voice soar from crying. "No, I saw this coming. Seeing who your father is." I replied.

"There's something else you need to know." He said. I looked at him, afraid of what he was going to tell me. "I have a task." He said. "What is it?" I asked. He seemed to hesitate, but told me eventually. "I have to get the Death Eaters inside the castle, after that........I need to kill Dumbledore." My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. "Why?" "Dumbledore is the only person who You-Know-Who is afraid of. And if I don't kill Dumbledore, he will kill you, then my family, then me." He said.

"Okay, what's your plan?" I asked. "It's better if you don't know, but please don't be upset with me." He begged. "I won't. You do what to do in order to protect your family." I stood up and he followed. I grabbed his wrist again and led him to my bedroom. I lay on my bed and he lay his head on my stomach. The lights dimmed with a wave of my hand and we went to sleep together.

One thing is clear. Dumbledore needs to die in order for him to be safe
