A few days later, Ron was released from the Hospital Wing. We had explained to him how he had broken up with Lavender, but we left the part about Hermione's name out, on her own request of course.
"Tell me how I broke up with Lavender again." He asked after Hermione had scolded him about making the sealing snow. Hermione gave me and the others a uncomfortable look. "Um, well, she came to visit you in the Hospital Wing. And you talked. I don't believe it was a particularly long conversation." Hermione explained. "And she ran out crying after." I added. This earned me a snort from Samira and Daniel, and a glare from Hermione. "Don't get me wrong, I'm bloody thrilled to be shot of her. It's just, she seems a bit put out."
We all glanced over to her and Ron was right. She was holding her spoon really tightly and she was staring intensely at Hermione or Ron, I couldn't tell. "Yes, she does, doesn't she?" Hermione asked. "You say you don't remember anything from that night?" Hermione asked hopefully. "I remember something. But it can't be. I was completely boggled, wasn't I?" He asked.
"Hé, guys. I forgot something in my dormitory. Be right back." I stood up and leftthe Hall. I quickly went to my dormitory, got my forgotten book and started walking back. I decided to walk directly towards the classroom.
On my way there I came across a bathroom, and the sounds of someone crying came out. I looked through the open door and saw a familiar platinum blonde boy. "Draco." I called softly. He seemed startled and quickly looked my way. "Why are you crying?" I asked as I slowly approached him. "I....I.....I" He repeated, but couldn't get the words out. He just flung his arms around me and cried onto my shoulder. I hugged back and started drawing small shapes on his back, hoping it would calm him a bit.
"I know what you did, Malfoy. You hexed her, didn't you?" Somebody asked. I let him go and turned towards the source of the sound. Harry was standing by the door. "Harry." I exclaimed, but there flew a beam of light past my head and I was pulled from my place.
"Draco, stop attacking him!" I hissed. "If he will do the same." He replied. He pulled me to the back wall and shoved me out of view. There was the sound of glass breaking. It went silent, only the sound from the water that came from the broken sinks could be heard.
Draco gently shoved me back and looked underneath the stalls. He shot pointed his wand underneath the stalls and shot a spell towards the other side. He stood up, grabbed my wrist again and dragged me away again.
I now stood out in the open, looking into one of the small paths that lead to the stalls. Harry quickly rounded the corner, assumed that I was Draco and yelled an unknown spell. I got hit full in the chest and got thrown onto my back. Sharp pain shot through my chest and before I knew it, the floor was red. With blood.
Draco POV
"Sectumsempra!" Potter shouted. It hit (Y/N), causing her to fly back and land on her back, hard. It only took a few seconds, but the floor was soon covered in water and blood. Her blood. Her white blouse was completely red and there came sharp and pained breaths from her throat.
I looked towards Potter, who just stood there, looking at what was happening. What a great friend. "What was that for spell Potter?!" I yelled. He stayed quiet. "What spell?!" I yelled again. I grabbed my jacked from the floor and tried desperately to stop the wounds from bleeding.
"Are you just gonna stand there and watch?! Your friend is dying!" I shouted. That seemed to snap him out of his daze. He wanted to move, but there was no need for it anymore. Snape had entered the bathroom and had strolled over to (Y/N) body, who was nearly unconscious by now, and started healing her wounds.
Potter had walked out and I took this as my chance. I quickly walked out after him and tried to find him. I found him on one of the corridors that led to the Gryffindor common room. I grabbed the back of his shirt before he could enter and shoved him against the wall.
"What the hell was that spell you used on (Y/N)?!" I asked. "That's not your business." He snapped. "It is, because that's my girlfriend that was laying on the bathroom floor and your friend, which you accidentally left behind with wounds that you created. You left her behind like she was some sort of vermin that is supposed to die!" I yelled. He stayed silent after that. "What a great friend you are, Potter." I spat.
"What's going on her?" I turned around and there stood Granger, Weasley, Phantom and Ifreann. "Your dear friend Potter over here, attacked me and (Y/N) in a bathroom, used an unknown spell on her, which caused her to nearly bleed to death and he just let her on the floor in the bathroom like a pest that was supposed to die." I explained.
Granger looked shocked, Weasley was completely dumbstruck and Phantom and Ifreann looked like they could kill Potter at any given moment. "You nearly caused her to bleed to death and you just left her there?! What kind of friend are you?!" Phantom yelled.
I left the five of them there, not caring what kind of scolding Potter would get. I walked towards the Hospital Wing, to which I assumed (Y/N) was moved to, and entered. The curtains around the bed on the far right were closed. I walked over and noticed Snape standing there.
"She's lucky. If you hadn't screamed at the top of your lungs at Potter, she wouldn't be with us anymore." Snape said. "How's she doing now?" "She's stable. She'll be getting a potion that will amplify her blood." I nodded, letting silence overtake us.
"What did you do after you walked after Potter?" He asked. "I asked what kind of spell he used on her. Then, his friends came by and asked what was happening. I explained what had happened and all of them looked ready to kill Potter." "Good. He deserves it." Snape smirked. "Sir, do you care about her? (Y/N), I mean?" He sighted. "Yes, and more than I care to admit."
The curtains opened and Madam Pomfrey appeared. "She's stable and I wrapped up her wounds. You can see her, but keep quiet. You don't want to wake her." The both of us nodded. I took place in the stool besides her, while Snape stayed standing. "I assume her friends will come here soon. Make sure Potter doesn't come to close." Snape ordered. I nodded and Snape strolled out.
As Snape said, her friends came shortly after. Well, you could say whole Gryffindor House. They all stood by the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of her, but Madam Pomfrey pulled her friends inside and closed the doors quickly.
"What's he doing here?" Potter asked as they came closer. "I can ask you the same thing. You're the one who did this to her. She's going to kill you when she wakes up." I replied. (Y/N) groaned from besides me and she slowly opened her eyes.
"What the f*ck happened?" She asked. "How are you feeling?" "Like crap." She chuckled. "(Y/N), we got rid of the book." Potter whispered. She looked at him, a very unamused look on her face. "Couldn't have done that earlier, have you?" She scoffed. "(Y/N), I'm sorry." "Like hell you are! When it would have been Draco in this bed you wouldn't even look back at him. You would have kept that book, the worst thing that could happen was that I was mad at you for 3 weeks!" She sneered.
She closed her eyes and spoke something in Parseltongue. Potter nodded and walked out. "What did you say?" Ifreann asked. "I asked him to go away. I don't need to see him right now." She replied. "We'll leave too. You need your sleep." She gave Granger a weak smile and the 4 of them walked out.
"What are you going to do?" She asked. "I'm gonna stay with you." "Are you going to watch me sleep?" "Maybe." "You're a real creep." "I've watched you sleep before. It's kind of calming actually." She chuckled softly. "You're really weird." "And you, (Y/N) Hydra, fell for it." "I did, didn't I?" She laughed.
She yawned and slowly closed her eyes. I traced her hand with my thumb and her breath slowed shortly after. I smiled, knowing that she was asleep and I crawled into the bed next to hers.
I still don't know what spell Potter used
