*Nicole's P. O . V*

Shauna and I sat at her kitchen table. She fed her children While I fed Kailaieah. As we sat, I got a sudden sick feeling, I got up and sat Kailaieah in the playpen before rushing into the bathroom, Nearly missing the toilet as the vomit poured out of my mouth.

"Nicole? Are you okay"? Shauna questioned outside the door. "Yea" I replied, I stood up and cleaned myself up, I opened the door and let her in, I grabbed my tooth brush and began brushing my teeth. "Was it something you ate"? She asked, flushing the toilet. "Probably" I said as I finished brushing my teeth.

I put my toothbrush back before exiting the bathroom. "Hey, uh, Do you know where Derrick and Joe went off to"? She asked curiously. "No, maybe they went to go enjoy themselves,"-" Lord knows they need it" She said. I nodded in agreement. "Well, I'm gonna go upstairs and get Kailaieah ready to lay down, I'll probably lay down to" I said confidently . She nodded

I started up the stairs. " I hope you get better" She said as I climbed the stairs. I nodded a I adjusted my grip on Kailaieah.

I went into the bedroom and laid Kailaieah down carefully. I walked into the bathroom (closed the door) and took a shower. I got out and got dressed. I dropped my dirty clothes into the hamper as I walked out. I went and Laid down in Joe and I's bed and slowly fell asleep. I pulled the door open enough for me to fit. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen and out the back door.

"Bruno"! I called, looking for Bruno. I walked into the back yard and searched through a bush, all I found were holes. (Which I was gonna scold Bruno for when I found him). "Bruno"! I called out again. He came slowly trotting toward me. He looked strange, but I didn't wanna over react. "Bruno, bad dog" I scolded, pointing toward the hole.

He whined sadly as he slowly fell to the ground. "Bruno" I whispered, going to him, he whined in reply. "SHAUNA"!!! I hollered. I was getting no reply. I slowly pulled the large dog into my arms. It took me a while to finally get to the door, when I did I almost dropped him trying to open the door (which I could've sworn I left open).

"Shauna"! I called breathlessly. I laid Bruno carefully down in the doggie bed which lay in the kitchen. I went through the house, looking for Shauna who was nowhere to be found. I walked up the stairs and into her twin boys' room. "Nathan...Noah" I said, not sure of which one I was shaking awake. "Yea"? He answered sleepily.

"Baby, where's mommy"? I questioned.

"I dunno" he answered. I sighed as I stood up. I quickly went into their bedroom I went over to the smaller bedroom connected to theirs to spot her chubby baby boy laying soundly in his crib. Next to him was a note which read:

Be back soon :)

I was confused, why couldn't she have just told me she was leaving?

I sighed stressfully as I exited the room. I walked into Joe/Kailaieah and I's room. Kailaieah lay in her bed, playing with her fingers.

             I walked down the hallway it was eerie... Like I was waiting for something to pop up or out, I dunno, but something was gonna happen. I made my way downstairs, as I looked around there was blood on the ground, I covered my mouth in surprise.

I continued my journey down into the living room and there was a body bag, I could only see the the top of the head, but it was like I already knew who it was, I began to cry and silently think no, no.

I slowly bent down and moved part of the bag, I gasped as I looked down at...Joe. "Noooooo" I screamed.

            I shot up In the bed, covered in sweat and breathing heavily. I looked around to see Joe laying soundless next to me. I sighed in relief. I laid down, snuggling into his chest. I guess he knew what I was doing because his big warm arms wrapped around me, pulling me closer to him.
