He looked at me concernedly. "What do you mean"? He asked "Your mission was failed...remember? We can't send you back until"- I slid my phone over to him and showed him the phone call I received. "What is this"? He questioned. I was hesitant, I didn't know how to tell him. I knew he'd think I was crazy.
"Cap, Casey, called me" I announced, bringing a very uncomfortable silence over the room. "Look, I know you probably think I'm crazy"-"I don't, I believe you" he said solidly. I was confused. "Look, Joe...They have my family" He admitted. My eyes widened as the words came out of his mouth.
"They-As in"-"Yes, They have my Wife, And two daughters"He added. I was lost, but I wanted more information. "I have something to tell you" he started. His beginning made me nervous. "The mission wasn't failed...It was arranged that way"He said, standing. "W-what do you mean"? I asked. "The mission was glitched...by me" he said slowly. I stood there in disbelief. "Azhulid told me they had my family... And if I didnt back down, they'd kill them..." He said almost shamefully. "Why didn't you tell us"? I questioned "Because, it was so overwhelming I didn't have time to think" he said. "Okay... Then let's go get Derrick and some others and go get'em" I offered. "It can't be too difficult"-"JOE" he said, catching my attention "We can't do anything, YOU and DERRICK have to" he said. I was confused. "Cap, Me and Derrick? We're only two guys. I thought they were dangerous"? I questioned. "They are...and that's why I can't send anyone except you-if anyone" he answered. "IF? I mean c'mon cap, you've already got men over there looking for the rest of the team, why not a dozen more" I suggested. He looked sheepish, as if something I'd said startled him. "They ARE missing aren't they"? I asked. He nodded. "AND you DO have men looking for them, DON'T YOU"? I asked again, not getting an answer. "YOU DO HAVE MEN SEARCHING,RIGHT"? I questioned, anger rising. "No" he answered quickly. "WHAT? You don't have men looking for OUR missing team"? I questioned angrily. "They said that if I sent men after them, they kill them off one by one..." He informed. This situation had gone from crazy to COMPLETELY LUDACRIS!!! I put my hand on my head trying to sooth the inserting headache. "Look, I'll explain everything tomorrow... We can't do this here" he said before dismissing me
