chapter 39

Jungkook's P.O.V

I ran like there was no tomorrow, I couldn't stop to catch a breath, my heart ached along with my whole body, drivers were screaming at me but all I could hear were Jimin's words all over again and again
I could only concentrate on the way to the hospital
Shit, why does it have to be so far away!
I'm so mad at myself, this is all my fault, I should have stayed with her

I reached the doors of her ward, but couldn't see her, I only saw doctors and nurses who surrounded her, the air was full of chaos
Jimin stopped me from running into the ward
"What are you doing, you don't want to make anything worse, do you?"
He said calmly but I could tell he was panicking....

Minutes passing maybe even hours, I can't calm down, how can I?
Walking back and forth, waiting for answers, this is all I can do, again.

I can't let her go...

The doctor came out and with her on the rolling bed and couple nurses, they were in a rush, but I couldn't stop, I need to ask her

"How is she, where are you taking her?" I said while not being able to even take a glance of her, this is too painful for me

"We are placing her in the intensive care unit, she is in a critical condition, I'm sorry" she said quickly and they left, I wanted to follow but felt hands on my shoulders, Jimin turned me to face him and hugged me

"Stay here, stay with her, she will be fine, she won't leave us, she won't leave you, trust me" he said quietly by my ear and I let a tear slip out of my eye, hearing him sobbing broke me

This is bad, this time it's bad, she just woke up, this shouldn't have happened, this is my fault...

Jimin's P.O.V

Jungkook's not doing well, he keeps crying silently, walking around like a lost dog, he can't sit down, I don't know how to calm him, we both are waiting for Y/N's mom to come out of the intensive are unit with some answers, she is the only one who can go in there, me and jungkook are pretty useless here, but I can't leave nor can I tell him to leave, I know he won't listen, he will stay here for days or even months if needed, I hope it won't be needed though...

All the "what if" thoughts that keep coming are killing my brain, I can't stop thinking about "after", after it happens, after what she's been saying might happen, I can't let that happen...

She's the only good thing that happened to Jungkook after he left his home, I can't see him in pain ever again, but the worst thing is that, I can't do anything about it and this is killing me.

We both immediately turned our attention to Y/N's mom when she came out of the unit, the fact that she looked devastated made things worse that they already were.

Jungkook's P.O.V

Y/N's mom came up to Jimin, who was standing in front of me, she hugged him and then she turned to me, she hugged me too, when I heard her sob I felt like my world shattered into billion pieces.

She let me go and sat down, she seemed like she had no energy left in her body, she didn't say a word and both me and jimin didn't dare ask her anything, she just looked at us with a painful smile
Which was enough for us to know that Y/N wasn't okay.

Here's an update guys!
This chapter is mainly about how the main characters are feeling about the situation, I'm going to rush things from the next chapter to finish the book in about 10-15 chapters, but I promise it's not going to be as rushed as GOT season 8 (if you know what I mean)
