You were wandering through the Kullman Mines on an investigation as to why the place was shut down. The door to the mines suddenly shut behind you, leaving you in darkness. Sighing, you activated your flashlight and looked around. A sudden bang sound made you jump and you looked behind you to see a barrel had fallen over. This made you feel a lot more scared and your hands began to tremble. You heard some sort of gurgling and screeching noises and whimpered in fright. You arrived in the center of a giant room with a lift. You then heard a pattering of feet and turned around, shining your flashlight into the face of a person with a white hoodie and mask, causing them to screech and cover their eyes. Keeping your flashlight trained on them, you slowly backed up. When you felt you were at a suitable distance away from the person, you turned around and ran. You heard an angry sounding scream and looked behind you to see the person running at you. You rounded a corner and found yourself trapped. The corner you had turned was a dead end. You noticed barrels nearby and hid in the pile of them as best as you could. The person ran around the corner and blocked off your only way. Upon finding you weren't there, they began looking around keeping the exit blocked. When you got a little uncomfortable, you moved your arm. BIG MISTAKE! When you did that, it caused the barrels to move and a few to fall. The person's head snapped to look at you direction and they began pulling the barrels away. They pulled the barrel in front of you away and found you. You cowered and covered your face in panic. The person grabbed you by the throat and picked you up out of the barrels before they slammed you against the floor. You grabbed onto their arm with your right hand and held your left hand out in a plea for mercy but they grabbed your left hand in a tight grip.

"Please...please don't kill me", you begged them and they tilted their head with a growl before you reached for your flashlight which was nearby. They noticed what you were trying to do and stomped on your hand, making you cry out in pain. They then studied you carefully before making growling noises you could not understand. The pain from them stomping on your hand was unbearable and you began to cry. Then the person did something you would never have expected. They removed their hand from your throat and gently wiped your tears away. They then got off you and looked at you as you held your injured hand. You looked up at them, still in pain
"Who are you?", you asked and they reached up and removed their mask. You saw a female face behind the mask and was a little shocked. The girl reached for you and hugged you suddenly. Taken aback, you slowly hugged her back. Despite the pain it caused your hand, you gently rubbed her back. She pulled away and giggled a little, before she suddenly leaned in and kissed your cheek before scampering away.
"Come get me", she shouted with a laugh. You shook yourself and ran after her despite the throbbing pain in your hand. Eventually you caught up to her and tackled her in a hug, rolling together until you came to stop with her on top of you. The two of you were laughing together
"My name is Kate. What's yours?", she asked you. You smiled
"Y/N", you replied and she smiled back
"That's a cute name", she replied and you blushed.
"It's not cute", you replied and she giggled
"It is for me. Especially since it's the name of such a cute boy", she replied before she leaned down and kissed you, this time on the lips. You blushed madly
"So here's the thing. I was sent to kill you. But I can hopefully persuade my master to allow you to live. Because you're a cute one", she said and as if on cue, a large faceless man appeared behind Kate. You were frightened, but after a while you felt calmed for some reason. Kate turned to you
"He's letting you live. But he's giving you a severe warning. He said that if you do anything to hurt me, you die", she explained. You nodded and held your hand, which still hurt from when Kate stomped on it. The faceless being stretched out a hand and your hand felt as good as new. You looked at the faceless being
"Thank you", you said and they nodded before disappearing. You looked at Kate before she pulled you into another kiss. Eventually, you felt a little tired. Kate took you to a room which had a mattress and torn duvet. You and her laid on the mattress and cuddled up to each other. You rested your head on Kate's chest and she kissed your forehead before you two drifted off to sleep.
